If you're planning to buy this phone for camera quality or as a gaming phone I suggest not, I have this phone for 3 years now and the longer i play the worse the phone gets. When you first have this phone you'd be thinking it's smooth and different than what my comment would think BUT give it more months then your phone starts lagging even for the smallest games, it sucks. For phone quality purposes, I'd give it a 3/10 the phone quality sucks because of how blurry it looks and also the camera filter is NOT NECESSARY AT ALL because it ruins the quality of the phone and none of the filters look good at all. Just be glad I'm sharing my experiences before you could even buy.

i've had this phone for 6 months,
battery life is great with at least 2days usage with heavy use,
camera is ok in daylight setting,
nice size,
web browsing good,
then a problem, i updated to color os 12,1and now the phone is very slow, so please be aware if you update then you may run into problems,

Worst reception ever.
When in remote areas, every other phone gets a better signal than Oppo A53.

Parents Bought this phone for me on January 2021, still uses it even though its only 4gb and 64gb storage. The 90hz cant be used in games anywhere since it has weak cpu, only good for scrolling. Though this phone are for budgets, I still think its good. Also my oppo A53 recently updated to Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1. Love the update but it seems to be slower on games than android 11, and I think there are a lot of improvements in the performance and aesthetics in the system.

I bought this phone early 2020 and it was good at first. I like its special features and battery last me for 2 days. It also charge quickly. The camera is not good. I dont like it resolution, either back or front. It has 3 back camera but i think only 1 works. Then after it updated to android 12 it started to be laggy. Its so hard to open multiple apps and multi task because it would just stop and black out. It requires me to optimize it time by time just to get the bare minimum performance.

This phone is trash, specially after the new update for Android 11.1. My camera used to work purrfectly untill this stupid update came, now my camera is no longer working I forced stop it, I deleted cache etc nothing pls fix this!!!
I am a failure without my baby camera !!!!

Lim, 05 Aug 2022How is android version 12?? The phone is very good to use even after the last android 12 upgrade. The 90 Hz display still works fine, battery life is still the same, and gaming is just fantastic even though I'm not a hardcore gamer

A very good phone to use best battery + camera and also the hand feel 90hz refresh rate updated from android 11 to 12 easily although a complete mobile for use.
