Buy from 2019, until this year is 2025. 6 years old I still use this phone. Everything is good, basic tasks such as watching YouTube, Facebook, Instagram are good (not fast, but acceptable) My model is 32/3GB, in terms of gaming performance, you can play a few light games, works well. Regarding the camera, taking photos, I think Oppo is a very beautiful photography company, so until now OPPO A5S is still good in taking photos and photo editing. Battery time, 6 years I have not changed any accessories in the device, so my device has the phenomenon of battery, praiseworthy Oppo A5s can still stand the battery well.
In summary, OPPO A5S will be fine if you use basic tasks, but if the Gaming performance and the fastness are probably OPPO A5S is too old for this.

Was my first phone, lasted a couple years before I upgraded. Still works today although it is awfully slow, takes 10 seconds to load google. Literally got -1 years worth of support (got released with Android 8 when Android 9 was out) so no new messaging, phone, photos app etc. Camera is outstandingly bad but I guess I'm used to my Pixel, it was good at the time. TECHNICALLY could still be used today as it's 4g, battery life is no joke almost better than my Pixel 8 pro even though my ax5s is almost 6 years old

literally worked smooth in first 1-2 years but after that totally trash phone even after updating it lagging as school computers. dont buy

Can't say it's decent, very good to say really. I've been using this for 5 years but it delivers the exact things it used to do in 2019. Yeah it may look outdated for 2024, but believe me, it's P35 prosscesor do delivers good gameplay in COD, PUBG and FF.

hm, my old phone is no longer used because the pin was carelessly changed and that was my fault, I have been using this phone for 6 years, I bought it with 3gb 32gb ram, it doesn't lag for daily use but lags when playing games. OK
