Rory, 05 Jan 2020I really like this phone but I'm struggling with the battery life. It's meant to be very good ... moreSeems like you are unlucky. Mine is good for nearly 2 days of light to medium use.
I really like this phone but I'm struggling with the battery life. It's meant to be very good but it's not very good for me.
I feel like I've tried everything to make the battery last longer but nothing is working. It's lasting about ten hours wth regular usage (no videos or downloads) and the power saver mode on all the time.
I've already gone and had it replaced as the first one I bought of this phone was doing the same. Is anyone having trouble with this?
I borrowed a Honor view 20 fast charger to charge my phone the other night from a friend.
It charged my Oppo A9 2020 from 30% to 100% in 55 mins???
Does this mean it does have fast charging capabilities????
When I use my own charger that came with the oppo, it can take hours to fully charge????!!!
KondriX, 27 Dec 2019Wow, that's great, thanks! And how is the actual quality of the sound? May I ask you what head... moreI think they sound great. As good as my FiiO X5ii digital audio player. I use 64 Audio U10 Adel in ear monitors with custom tips for general use and a custom in ear monitor with 4 balanced armatures and 1 dynamic driver when flying.
It was sad to say, no notification bulb on screen. Not value for money. Doesn't recommend at all.

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2019Oppo realized they made a mistake with the screen in A9. Its successor A91 has Amoled Full HD+... moreIn my experience and observation, Oppo has big concern about battery and heating issue in their products.
Very good point from them.
Oppouser, 24 Dec 2019I have the Oppo A9 2020... And recent it takes a lot of time to identify my touch..like I have... moreYeah touch on screen doesn't always register straight away. Phone had some issues with the headphones I was using would turn automatically to no sound. Guys at JB HiFi in Cairns were so rude about serving me. Also I was told by salesperson at JB HiFi the phone was compatible with USB micro to HDMI, it is not at all. Again the sorry 50 year sod at JB HiFi was fine rude about giving me a refund. Phone is not perfect I would say about 6.5/10. Customer service at JB HiFi is 4.5/10!
travelinjack3, 27 Dec 2019It plays all my high res audio files easily. Wow, that's great, thanks! And how is the actual quality of the sound? May I ask you what headphones do you use? Thanks!
I'mPhone, 16 Dec 2019I am living in SE Asia country, I have seen this in a phone store (don't trust the 2020 label)... moreCompletely disagree. The phone is very nice. No pixelation. No speed issues. Great battery life.

Keep in mind people, the oppo A9 2020 has a (major) screen flickering issue.
Youtube my video - " ionic zash " showcasing the issue.
2 other users have confirmed the same issue to me.
The retailer where I purchased it from are now not allowing me to return it for a refund/exchange for this particular reason, and have advised me to contact oppo (warranty) directly.
It seems like the issue may be widespread.
Does it really have Hi-Fi audio? I see that GSMArena mentioned that it can play 24bit/192 kHz, but I didn't find any info about it. I'm really interested in the audio quality through headphones.. And by the way, Isaw on another portalw that it has USB-C and not microUSB, I think it's a typo from GSMArena.
