Oppo today unveiled the Reno3 series at an event in Hangzhou, China and alongside that, the company launched its truly wireless earphones, dubbed Oppo Enco Free.
The Oppo Enco Free pack 13.4mm dynamic drivers and have a frequency response range of 16Hz to 20KHz. They come with an FPC positioning system paired with a dual magnetic circuit and composite diaphragm to deliver detailed, studio-quality audio.
The Enco Free sport a half in-ear design but they also come with silicon tips in three different sizes for a better fit. The earphones weigh 4.6 grams each and are IPX4 certified, meaning you can wear them while working out without having to worry about the sweat.
The Enco Free support voice calling and feature dual-microphone beam-forming technology and AI uplink noise cancellation for clear, crisp calls. There's also binaural simultaneous Bluetooth transmission to deliver synchronized audio to the left and right ears and Oppo promises a minimal latency of 120 ms.
The Oppo Enco Free come with Bluetooth 5.0 and have a range of 10 meters. They pack a 31 mAh battery and arrive with a plastic case which charges through a USB-C port and offers a total of 15 hours of call time and 25 hours of music playback at 50% volume. Without the case, which packs a 410 mAh battery, you get three hours of call time and five hours of music playback.
The charging case has an LED indicator on the front and a pairing button on the right side. And once you have paired the earphones with your smartphone, they connect instantly as soon as you open the charging case.
The Oppo Enco Free also support slide gestures for music control. You can slide your finger on the left and right earbuds to adjust the volume and change tracks, respectively. You can also double-tap on either earphones to answer a call or play/pause the music.
The Enco Free are offered in three colors and will go on sale in China for CNY699 ($100/€90) starting December 31.
