Oppo Android

Oppo F1 is the first member of the new F-series, which will be focusing on luxurious design and premium camera experience. It is now available on pre-order in Vietnam, but more markets will be getting it soon.

The Oppo F1 houses within a thin 7.25mm aluminum unibody and packs a 5" IPS display of 720p resolution protected by a curved Gorilla Glass 4 piece. The chipset in charge is Snapdragon 616 with an octa-core 1.7GHz Cortex-A53 processor, Adreno 405 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. The extra amount of RAM will surely make happy the multi-tasking fans.

The rear camera is an ordinary 13MP snapper with f/2.2 lens and a single-LED flash. The front camera gets the boost - it’s an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 lens (1/4" sensor) and its software tweaks include Beautify 3.0 interface, 8 live color filters, and most importantly - it can use the screen as a flash in low-light conditions.

The Oppo F1 specs sheet also lists 16GB expandable storage, dual-SIM capabilities with LTE connectivity, and a 2,500 mAh battery. Android 5.1 Lollipop with Color 2.1 launcher run the Oppo F1.

Oppo F1 is available on pre-order in Vietnam right now for roughly $290 and will ship on January 13 via thegioididong.com. The first 1,500 people to pre-order the F1 will receive an iLike Bluetooth headset. Nationwide sales begin on January 25.

We expect more info on the Oppo F1 availability on Friday.

umm I don't understand why Oppo and Vivo are using SD 615/616 for their flagship phone..I mean, come on guys, these two brands were using SD 801 at the past.
