He told me how much a battery is affected by display resolution. And he helped me to do the test, I completely believe on his knowledge.
RishiGuru, 03 Dec 2016I am amazed!!! How do even calculate the difference in operating time will be 1.5 hours betwee... moreAlso, man,i think there is a factor behind this result. In my long test, I have concluded that If a phone heats up much, then it's battery drains faster than usual. And vivo v3 did the same thing, even though it performs quite well in normal conditions, it starts to struggle a lot when it starts to heat, may be the optimisation is not so good, as a result, the system starts to throttle and battery drains faster.
RishiGuru, 03 Dec 2016I am amazed!!! How do even calculate the difference in operating time will be 1.5 hours betwee... morereal world experience is what matters. and only after that I preferred to buy f1s over v3max. It was a really tremendous work for me to test both, each one of my two cousins. I had never done this before. I had stayed with them for 2 days and in that 2 days I tested both with all challenges ranging from durability, camera to processor, display and battery. Only after all those tests, I was satisfied to buy f1s. I'm happy that I didn't go for f1s blindly by hearing others. I tested both first and oppo scored better in my test than excellent v3 Max. Everyone should talk with true users and at least do a brief test, if not long, to do the right choice.

How do even calculate the difference in operating time will be 1.5 hours between Oppo F1s & Vivo V3Max? Have you developed any inhouse formula which lets you calculate this difference? :)

I have noticed that guy is continuously trolling this phone and people who are using or want to use this set. Gsmarena is for every one but it has specific pages for everyone's favorite phones, so people should talk about their smartphone in the specific page and no one is allowed to continuously troll a phone or a brand. And no one should troll people who have a specific phone to mislead others. This is truly objectionable.

RishiGuru, 02 Dec 2016Nobody is criticizing anbody. GsmArena is for everbody, it is not for Oppo users only. :)Gsmarena oppo page is only for oppo f1s users and future users only. If you want to post about your favorite phones, then you can go to their page. But you can't deliberately antagonise those who bought from a company, you can't repeatedly bash the same brand. You can talk about the phone because people can decide it is right or not. But you can't comment about the people who bought it. So this is my last warning, obey the rules of gsmarena or gsmarena will take actions against you.

Disappointed about oppo F1s.
Especially the color OS.
- No menu shortcut button
- Only one color LED
- Limited option for widgets and wallpaper customisation
- No quick option menu when you tap n hold a file
- Very hard to work setting menu
- Sometimes when i hit clear recent application, the applications still not cleared.
- Turned off BBM notification vibration but still vibrate
there are a lot of smartphone better with cheaper price.

RishiGuru, 02 Dec 2016Ofcourse Oppo F1s will have better battery backup compared to Vivo V3Max as both comes with a ... moreNo no no, there should be little difference, about 1.5 h, but the difference is at least 3.5 hours in equal usage. Even my bro's j7 prime which is not so good performer, but the battery is efficient, also lasts slightly less for the same test without power saving mode activate. (this is strange because it is not so good performer because I have noticed horrible framedrops in asphalt extreme, nitro, and nova 3 so it don't have to work a lot), this is because color os is one of the best ever and lightest ever os, which ties up with the efficient and capable heliop10 to perform excellently. And you said p10 old?? P10 was revealed in just September 2015 and only p20, x20 and 25 were next processors. But SD 650 and and 652 were in Feb 2015, almost 2years!
Anonymous, 02 Dec 2016No. Helio x20 doesn't have heating issue, actually each and every processor generates heat. Wh... moreOfcourse Oppo F1s will have better battery backup compared to Vivo V3Max as both comes with a 3000 mAh battery. With equal battery capacity the F1s with cheap & weak chipset and low quality HD display will always have to work less, compared to the powerful V3Max with expensive and performance orientated chipset and FullHD display. It amazes me you do not even understand this basic criterias and start comparing phones.
If you want real battery backup get a feature phone, as almost all smartphones needs to be recharged once par day.

You have no right to criticize them or underestimate them, okay! You can talk technically but cant blame them. I warn you If you again do this, I will complain to gsmarena. Only oppo users and people who want to use it should comment here. Not those who don't have or not willing to have should go to their favorite phone page and comment there. Don't mislead others with objectionable way. Those who agree with me please comment

They have never experienced what real performance is. High end games will be very choppy to play in F1s, courtesy its weak MT6750 chipset. It also comes with a big, low quality display which is not even FullHD.
