Actually the price cut is happened globally, just need to check your nearest outlet.
ros, 06 Sep 2015where did u get the astro blackI get it at Malaysia, Penang area, just left few unit.
You need to negotiate with the seller to get the Astro Black unit, normally they will tell you no stock, for whatever reason, you need to keep asking and asking.
Some shop recommend me to take the white unit, and pay RM35 to get the Astro Black original cover.
Anonymous, 05 Sep 2015How is the battery lifeWell, battery life is a known issue.
But with the given price, I can used the saved money to buy power bank and extra battery backup.
The powerful smartphone nowadays all are battery eater. Processor, screen, OS them self is not designed to save battery, but just enforce on performance. I know power bank is not a very convenient solution, but it is a common way of re-juice the battery, all iPhone user, and those user with non-removable battery are doing so.
It a kind of trade off between spec, performance and battery life, and these races are never ending. I can choose some low spec phone with much longer battery life, but slower or lower performance when I need them to perform well.
DrNamza, 04 Sep 2015why the price suddenly drop do u know?Being informed is the National Day promotion.
A week before, the asking price is still RM1498.
The promotion being told is started on 30AUG2015, the day before National Day.
I think the major price cut will be to clear stock.
pSykhs, 04 Sep 2015Where did you get black? Everywhere its selling white! You are right, everywhere is selling white. Black is out of stock.
I visited more than 10 outlet to ask for black version, finally settle down for 1 outlet that still has black color version.
It is Astro black, not Kevlar, but the shiny color effect resemble Kevlar.
Just bought this phone at RM998, Malaysia, at Malaysia, a major price cut that is now cheaper than Xiaomi Mi Note 64GB, and Oneplus One 64GB, and much cheaper than Samsung S5, LG G3, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Nexus 6, Lenovo Z2 Pro, ASUS Zenfone 2, and Vivo Xplay 3S, real steal and real flagship spec with Micro SD card slot, removable battery, 2K screen, 32GB memory, and 3GB RAM. Minus the IR blaster, now this is the real bargain everyone should buy, while stock last. I get a black color Kevlar cover version, blazing fast, nice looking, everything just great.
danny danial, 29 Aug 2015all is perfect only android cant upgade to lolipop please do somethingYou can upgrade it in Oppo Forum.
all is perfect only android cant upgade to lolipop please do something
Had this phone for 3 months now after moving on from the Note 2. It is fast intuitive, and a pleasure to hold. The fast charger is brilliant, though the battery life isn't brilliant I do get a day and a half with normal usage.
I comes with a partition which is a pain, and there's no OTA updates in the UK. Pop over to the Oppo forum and download the 4.4 update and all is good. Don't go for the beta's though as they are glitchy.
The camera takes some getting used to but is absolutely fantastic.
Headphone music is great and handles 24 bit with ease, not surprising since OPPO make some of the best headphone around. The speaker seems loud enough but I'm not one who wishes to embarrass myself in public.
The screen is a little dim in auto settings but can be tweaked.
Th UI takes a bit of getting used to but there are a huge range of tweaks available OTA from OPPO, some dreadful and a couple surprisingly good. At 289 Euros from the OPPO store with accessories, a real bargain.
FAIZAN , 19 Aug 2015i want to buy this cellphone.....but i want some good review about this cell phone oppo fine 7... moreI've had this phone for a while it is all around pretty good, the one problem I have with it is it no longer having an app drawer on color os but you can just flash the rom with another or get an app like app swap (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.ebt.appswitch&hl=en) which is what I did. But if you are on the edge on this phone I would say just go for it.
