Oppo Android

Oppo just launched its refreshed A83 and called it A83 2018. Pakistan will be the debut market for the phone that got a very minor hardware refresh compared to its predecessor.

The new Oppo A83 2018 sports more generous 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage, while retaining the Mediatek's Helio P23 chipset with its octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 2.5 GHz and Mali-G71 MP2 GPU.

The battery remains 3,180 mAh and cameras are still 13MP on the back and 8MP up front. The usual 5.7-inch IPS display with 720 x 1440 resolution is here to stay.

The device is priced at 29,899 PKR ($258) while the standard 3GB version's price has been reduced from 25,899 PKR ($224) down to 19,999 PKR ($173).

In my honest opinion, that 3/32 GB version actually looks good for its price vs features ratio if someone is planning to try an OPPO phone for the 1st time. But still in Pakistan, Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 is just an overall better offering.
