Last time i checked a lot of people bought iphone 6 and that phone was thicker and had a bad battery life... As bad as the the Oppo R5 which is thinner at 4.9mm. http://i.imgur.com/LAanoZ3.png
If phones are getting bigger. At least some companies are trying all they can to make them thinner. Props Oppo for taking this risk.

20.7 mp photos and 1080p videos will cover that space within less than a couple of months
and a very low mah battery for such a big phone with FHD screen

If there is a way to put at least 2700ma battery and 4 core gpu will be amazing phone. But there target is the thinnest phone and they did it.
