I'm from Malaysia and I'm waiting for oppo R7s series to be sold on the market as soon as possible. I don't care about the dumb chipsets and battery or whatsoever you guys keeps bringing on , cause oppo brand is still awesome though . But main problem is I'm so worry about the phone if it was going to be like hang , and more , I'm not so good about it . I didn't want to waste my money to buy or repair it , so , what if you guys help me by preferring which phone brand was the best . I want to buy new one cause mine right now really super duper slow. And small.I can't type properly.Do help me. Thank you.
Mocha, 04 Dec 2015R7s is the best
I have used r7 lite and r7 plus
Best of both r7sI had used different models of Samsung phone. The last one being Galaxy S3. Then I also used Redmi Note 3G & Redmi Note 4G. I am not the type of user who continuously chase after new models. I can continue to use the phone as long as it can serve what I need. That was why I had used S3 for 3 years.
Oppo R7s is much better eventhough I didn't try Samsung Galaxy S5/S6. However, S6 price is higher.
GPS functionality is very important for me because I use route tracking apps for jungle trekking/hash very often. Oppo R7s (or probably most China made phones) has better tolerance to GPS errors, ie, easy to get connected to more satellites' signals.
Lookman, 06 Dec 2015Is there any heating isue?
How about the battry?I don't have overheating issue. It could be related to my usage habits. My phone is connected to wifi most of the time. Sometimes I turned on mobile data for several hours and leave it in my pocket. No heating issues. I often read online newspapers or Facebook for 1 or 2 hours continuously.
The battery can last for 1.5days on average, depending on what I am doing with the phone. Battery usage, screen/display 29%, OS system 15%, Chrome 14%, Android OS 9%, etc.
I bought this phone because I was looking for more RAM (4GB for this unit). I like to download/use many apps. Previous phones 2GB is getting slow/lagging fast.
I need to learn to get use to different features compared to the phones previously owned. Eg, battery is not removable, external microSD memory card is occupying SIM2 slot, not able to provide owner's information at the lockscreen. Owner's information at lockscreen can allow someone to identify the owner in case I misplace it.
I would like to hear from other owner about the OTG connection. My phone's OTG connection response is really a problem/annoying.
I have used R7s for almost 1 week. So far OK but, I wonder whether there is something wrong with the OTG connectivity. Sometimes, it works. But sometimes it can't detect the connected USB pendrive. When the OTG works, it took a few seconds to detect the connection.
I don't find any problem with the OTG on other phones (Samsung, Redmi, etc).
Hi. I wanna buy a new phone but i'm not sure which one is the best. Oppo r7 plus or oppo r7 lite or oppo r7s? Please help me.
coys, 23 Nov 2015no optical motion stabilization and finger print scanner...Many people missed the great specs on the HTC One ME, has everything, fingerprint scanner, dual sim, sd slot, great camera with stabilisation, boom speakers. If they keep these features with faster/latest CPU, it will be the best for 2016. Watch out for HTC One M10 2016.
wha, 23 Oct 2015only 1 disadvantages in this unit, NO FM RADIOYeah. You better buy a radio than a smartphone. Please put your review in the Radio blog
