upcycled my ma's old Reno2 exclusively as a DAP. Work surprisingly well after debloating 90% of the stuff. Using Moondrop Dawn Pro as a usb amp/dac and It would last around 13 hours of playback (Tagostudio T3-01-MD). I wish it could go 20+ hours tho. The bezel-less is great on viewing album arts and all that, definitely making it feels like a dedicated DAC instead of a smartphone. Like other commenter said, my RedMagic 11 definitely would be a better choice just for it's display alone (no hole whatsoever) but I decided that it's going to be my main phone and emulators, so it doesn't have much space for my music library.

I have been using the phone 6 years already, best functioning, ; I like motorided selfie camera. And no camera hole or notch in the display!!. You will not find a telephone nowadays with display without a notch

My brother gifted me this phone back in 2019 and this phone does everything. It is sturdy af. I play competitive moba and sometimes I raged tap the screen and it is still going strong lol. I only needed to replace the screen protector just a few months ago.
However, reality hits when the battery is finally showing fast decrease and the android's last update was 2 years ago which I just realised recently. It is time for upgrade but I am not sure what phone to buy. I am thinking either Nothing phones, Honor or IQOO9.

Hi guys, I've been using this device in 2024, I have bought it to replace my laggy Tecno Spark 20C and overall this is my honest opinion about this phone.
This phone is still works majestically good within it's age. This phone came out in 2019 as we all know and it's still powerful to do multitasks, scrolling and using the basic apps such as media social and so on...
The camera is great. And the price that i bought off Facebook marketplace place is insanely low. I bought the 256gb for just 350 MYR (Malaysia Ringgit). And if it's in USD this would cost me just 80$. What a great deal
The downsides that I was experiencing with the device itself is just the battery life, charging time and its gaming capabilities. But it is expected as the phone age is 6 years old by now. Overall experience I'll give it a solid 8/10 for this phone. It's a great choice to move on from a "budget smartphone" in 2024.

A lot of people saying that this is the BEST RENO VARIANT - MAKE & MODEL EVER PRODUCED. Even a lot is saying that they prefer this one than the newest Reno12. I actually chose Reno2 F since it was during the peak of Covid-19 pandemic when I bought a new phone and they had only the said model. But I am also loving Reno2 F since the build is quite durable and stylish. Four straight years have passed and it is still doing its best to satisfy me.

Me and my partner has been using this device since 1st Jan 2020 and no issue ever arise till date. Just now that I keep on using it for taking picture on car parts (I work in automotive) the battery health has been affected. Am also looking for another device but afraid they won't be as good as this one!

Sooo. I have using it for 3 years while my phone (this) are made since 2019 so it's 5 years old.
The performance goes very well, and slow-mo are good fair enough for me.
Pop-up selfie camera make it looks interesting and make me wanna add extra star review cuz of this.
48 MP are nice and 20x as well. So, the phone i use is great and nothing issue at all.
Oh and the heat are just fine. But 44-46°C battery while gaming is not a big problem, at least it does thermal throttling itself which it is good part and actually cool down while gaming. It occur when it hit 45°C only.
But i still love my phone though... =)
