Oppo Reno keeps leaking, and the latest information comes from the company itself. The phone was listed on the official Oppo online store in China, gathering reservations. The listing confirms the colors, the 48 MP camera as well as the NFC and VOOC 3.0 support.
The Oppo Reno is listed with a price tag of CNY9,999 which is most clearly a placeholder as it is highly unlikely Oppo will sell this smartphone for over $1,500. It might come in four colors, but not all of them will be available with all the RAM+storage options. According to the store, only the Nebula Purple and Extreme Night Black will have 6GB/128GB variants.
A 6GB/256GB version will be available in Black, Pink or Gold (it is roughly translated as Dusk Pink), and Aurora Green. Only the last option will be available with the most powerful memory combo of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
And if you were wondering what Oppo will call the unusual selfie camera pop-up, it might be named Shark Fin, according to a listing at the EUIPO - European Union Intellectual Property Office.
Although there is no link to the selfie camera, it is pretty obvious this trademarked combination of words will be somehow related to the mechanism that elevates in one of the most unorthodox ways we’ve ever seen.
