Earlier today an Oppo executive revealed a new smartphone called Oppo Reno is being prepared for launch. Thanks to helpful tipsters and Twitter leaksters, we know the phone will have the 10x zoom camera, teased at MWC 2019 and will be announced on April 10.
Oppo Reno appeared on multiple certification websites with the model number CPH1917. One listing under “design description” revealed the new device will come with the Snapdragon 710 chipset, 6.4” display with Full HD+ resolution and 48 MP + 5 MP main rear cameras. There will also be a 16 MP front-facing shooter.
The teaser tries to hide the camera setup, but with some quick adjustment of the brightness and contrast, we can see the configuration revealed on a prototype back in Barcelona during the global unveiling of the 10x technology with periscope camera.
