Oppo Android

We were eagerly expecting the market launch of the Oppo Realme 2 after the phone was introduced as a “market disruptor” with an aggressively low price of INR8,990 ($130/€110). The subbrand did not disappoint and boasted on Twitter it sold 200,000 units in just 5 minutes during its first flash sale.

The Oppo Realme 2 is an exclusive device for the Indian market and arrives with Snapdragon 450 chipset and 13 MP + 2 MP dual camera. It has Color OS 5.1, based on Android Oreo, and a huge 4,230 mAh battery.

The affordable price is for the 3/32 GB variant, while consumers wanting some more RAM and storage could purchase the 4/64 GB version for INR10,990 ($155/€130).

Color options are Diamond Black or Diamond Red with a cool pattern on the back that changes shade under different lighting, while a Diamond Blue option is expected to arrive in October.
