Manny, 02 Aug 2008I have a Treo 755p (sprint), is there any way that I can switch the os to a windows based os i... moreno you cannot. in case you want a palm with a windows os then 750 and later will work for you.
btw the palm os works pretty well...why do you want to change it...windows 5 is buggy right now and already we are looking at wm 6 on the cards.
also do you have a unlocked phone >> in case no then do not even think about changing any of the software
Well, i work on a cell phone company and i´ve had a problem with 80% of the treo 750 I have selled. Not with 650, nor 680, so I guess windows is the problem (if my pc crashes why my cell wouldn´t?). So i´m wandering if anyone knows if there is a patch or a way to upgrade th OS version.
Thanx from Uruguay
OK. Everyone having problems with your treos there is a simple and effective way to fix your Treo.
Take a hammer (the bigger the better) and smash the thing to pieces.
Then buy yourself a good phone with renowned reliabilty.
We had a treo smashing session in the office the other day when our new nokias arrived!!
UNHAPPY BUYER, 01 Aug 2008worst phone i have ever owned...it freezes up all the time, it will drop call, or the person o... moreYes,
we are having exactly the same issues + one phone you can hear unless its on loudspeaker, and both of them when you press a button it takes around 3-4 seconds for the phone to respond.
You are absolutley correct these phones are CRAP. If you are reading this and looking to buy a treo save your money by something else

worst phone i have ever owned...it freezes up all the time, it will drop call, or the person on the other won't be able to hear me talk, when i answer it, the caller cant hear me, i have to say hello at least three times...it just is a peice of crap.....
Is it true that this Treo can run on 3.5 G connection connection or is it only 3 G?
The Palm Treo is a great buy, with support for Windows Mobile 6.0 it very powerful. The only setback with the Treo 750 is its speed, it can be slow at time when you really need it to be fast. Other than that, the phone is masterpiece.
plam treo is the worst phone i ever had. i had to get it repaired just a month after i bought it and it still freezes most of the time...the call drops out of no reason...worst coverage anywhere i go...all the features like bluetooth, excel, powerpoint, alram clock and never worked...cusotmer service is terrible and nothing good about this phone i can say..
umm.. What is a Palm Treo?
Oh, thats right, A dieing breed of phones!
Garbage, complete garbage now.
Extremely big, heavy as a brick.
You had your day in the sun back in 2004, but since then.. you have failed and continued to come up with ANYTHING INNOVATIVE... you fail completely
Never had any real issues with my 750, other than self-inflicted when testing new programs and tweaking them. Only issue that I have is the screen being squarishly small, but trade off is that I can text one-handed. Yes, the OEM battery doesnt last very long, but resolved with an extended battery. Very dependable cell phone. Dont know how I survived without one. =)
Liviusan, 02 Jun 2008games, themes, applications free for 750?Hope that here you will find something useful. :)
This phone is terrible!!!!! Loads of technical issues, terrible customer service and awful defaults that you are forced every day to change! constantly freezes and very flimsy! only had for 11 months and need a new phone!
