I can not find batteries for my phone on the web site. Is it possible I can send the phone in for a new battery, or can you tell me where I can find a location?

I don't know whether it's radiation, but when talking on the phone for periods of 5 mins+ my ears and toungue go fuzzy and I get a headache.

Nice and cute phone. Unfortunately, the is no Manual Operation in english version (availble in Chinese version)during i bought it.Shah from Malaysia.

No words can desribe my fustration at this phone. It is nothing but a cheaply made piece of !@#$!!
Two weeks after i bought this phone it died, there was zero reception evrywhere i went, ZERO. So i called up the customer care service (or so they call it) to be recieved by a badly managed service team, badly managed call center and rude employees. Anyway got it fixed and it came back working. Oh, but not for long. Two days later it broke AGAIN! The same problem. So i called them up again, went through the same stuff again. got it back, worked for a few weeks..and then...what do you know, broken again. Called them back telling them off at the shit-ness of their phones. So they picked it up and 'claimed' they would put it on high priorty. and would consider replacing it, but alas, they are too stupid and too cheap to realise this whole courier-fixing carousel was just going round in cirles and it would have been cheaper to just replace it for me. This just shows how bad their managment is, and their lack of 'cusotmer care'. So now i've got this phone back for the third time and now the buttons are sticky, and it feels dreadfully worthless. Wouldn't even be able to sell it on ebay even if i wanted to
In all this phone is nothing but a 'pretty' face. in fact it's not even pretty, its a damn ugly piece of rubbish and who ever designed it and the interface need their heads examined. This phone is nothing but a huge headache and i would not recommend it to anyone. It's cheap, useless, has the worst reception, it's damn ugly, for Gawd's sake; it can only hold 20 messages, it's laggy, and you can't hold it properly.
Panasonic should really re-think their design department and management.

How do we set up the calender notes to remind you of something at a specific time? whenever I set the calender notes and their time, the phone never reminds me of my notes... The manual says nothing.. please help me guys!!
Otherwise it's a really hip, impressive.. and like the smallest phone in the world!

I have owned this phone for 5 months. I bought it for its small size and the speakerphone. Now I can talk without holding the phone to my ear, which gives me a headache. I love the small size and cute design. The only complaints I have are from my friends - they say the phone cuts in and out, and some people get a fax-like sound. I have heard it a few times. The guy at the shop said it's a problem with the service provider. I never have any problems on my end though, so I'm quite satisfied. Too bad now they came out with almost the same thing (A100) for only a fraction of the price. How unfair.

Bought the GD55 not even two months ago, it now won't turn on and I have put it in to get fixed. What kind of company claims that is the leading manufacturer of electronics and can't make a phone that lasts two months!! Very disappointed Panasonic, will not be buying any more phones of this brand. If anybdy else had had the same problem, please feel free to share. Phone is great and has very useful features - when it works.

My phone worked 17 days only.
Does anybody has information about GD55 product recall (faulty battery holder)? It's not under warranty even if it should be.

my 10 year old daughter got this phone for her birthday and she just loves it. it is perfect in pink and really is well marketed for primary school girls.. speaker phone works well and she can tie it round her neck so as not to loose it.. Its ring sound is loud, and she now hears me when I try to ring her while she is travelling on the school bus, not like the nokia she had, and the size of this phone enables her to slip it into her school dress pocket without anyone knowing its there, she hardly ever charges it.. I find the menu all over the place, and difficult to master, but then I dont hardly ever use it. But never has she complained, small price to pay for a very good phone, which has bought hours of fun to my daughter.

I purchased this recently. The good points:
(1) Triband, so will work in most countries.
(2)Petite, adn a fashion icon.
(3)Nice pre-set ring tones.
(4) Good reception & volume on calls
(5)A good basic phone if that is all you want.
Bad points
(1) The phone is so small prolonged texting is a strain. Boys with big fingers, this phone is NOT for you.
(2) The English instruction booklet I got
was poor
