Is the thick and heavy construction of this phone only for the sake of longer battery life and "sporty" looks, or is it really more durable and robust than s7 (doesn't break that easily, basically.)?

How did u exactly calculate that 30 2MP pictures are about 3MB???????? Thay are about 10-18 MB

I think it's smart phone. Desing is good. Battery is perfect. Camera is good but it could be CCD lens Not CMOS. It hasn't came our country and I hope it's price wouldn't be expensive. and What is symbian ??? :)

uhmmm...about the battery... though the talk time estimated 4 hours, mobile phone rates are far from cheap...
i prefer using CDMA technology, talk till you dry your mouth... just curious, when panasonic will make CDMA phone with such features? hope it won't be too long.

16M color is perfect... one handed operation is okay too... the cons:

TO JULIAN:
There is no need for MiniSD card.
With 2mp resolution you can store at least 30 photos on 3mb internal memory! To store 30 photos is enough for the phone which doesn't serve to replace a basic digital camera.
PANASONIC SA7 PROS:
-The largest and the clearest color screen of all cellular phones (except Xcute phones)
-The strongest batterry capacity of all cellular phones
-The best sound quality of all cellular phones
-The best ring tone quality of all cellular phones.

I don't care if the MP3 player on Panasonic's
phones is not of Sony Ericsson's quality.
MP3 player is a total waste of time, especially on a cellular phone! Digital camera or camcorder is more needed for a cellular phone!

i will never understand in a million years why panasonic decided not to have the midi sd card slot after all. it is so lamebrained. 32mb is not enough, plainly speaking. i was waiting for this model (or the MX7) since it was announced way back and now i am devastated. those people at panasonic are crazy.

yep..this phone has 3 main functions..mp3,video and photo taking..its picture quality n video will be superb..!! esp with 16 m colours ..well ..its mp3 should be good too..this phone is a simple phone with quite few but important features....so it should be not too ex..yea panasonic is smart!! i love its simplity..(its design rocks too)
