i saw it from thailand, but just a display phone. very nice. they said will be released on NOV. hopefully the price not that expensive. n i will get it when this phone released in market. just the small wake point is the battery cant afford for long time, maximen i think is 2 days. if u dont have that's much call...if u r the hotline user think the phone just can standby for u only one day or till next day afternoon. anyway i still want it.

y so slow released in the market??? i lost my Panasonic X70, now i m waiting this phone in the market, n i will get it one...unfortunetalt this phone dont have MP3, but the ringing tones izzit support wave file??? i just waiting u (X700) in the market....i read from site mantion this phone will be available in oct. UK first. when is malaysia?. i cant wait to see u

When the phone was announced it seemed like one of the best phones in 2004 but it was said it would be released in late august. It's been over and month and there's still no indication of it's release and i'm begining to worry that by the time it's released it would have lost it's technological edge it seemed to have over the competition.

This phone is Terrible. But fortunately , this phone have a radio function and mp3 function but i like video and the photo phonebook function
it does have an mp3 function. sort of like the 6600 you know. they say it play mp3's but it does. its has a real media player which CAN play mp3's but you can't formally call it an mp3 player can you? so like all series 60 symbian devices, the x700 has real player which can support SUBWOOFERS. with radio you can access it thru the web and strem of piss the media player but it's sort of cool you know, and it convenient. it's not expensiv too (depending on network) you know. anyway i hate this phone and i can't get it out of my head. it's drivin me mad you know @#$!%^#&

Guys, this is a symbian phone.. a symbian phone can play video if u install 3rd party software. Mp3 player can be install too. this phone support SD card.

to mystic: yes you're right but fortunately the X700's speaker won't be as bad when reproducing MP3s as the 6600's (Yamaha sound chip,u know). Besides, who needs MP3 anyways, when u have OGG (much better & clearer sound).
