I'll say yes if i need this phone.... currently I’m jus using 1 phone...this phone is great for business...well it dose not feature HSDPA and other High-Tech feature...but the thing u need to know is this phone is about communication...not a game-box...it's great for people like my father who need use 2 phone in same time.
If can on one time use dual sim is very perfect.like this no different.

I see a smartphone like formfactor with a "chopstick". But no HSDPA, No WLAN, WAP 1.2
A 1.3MP camera.
Lol they should have brought out this thing 5years ago :))
hey alex (the guy who uses cect phones in romania),
do you guys have tri/quad band phones that take 2 sim cards at once?
if so let me know where i can purchase one on the internet.
thanks a plenty.
This is a Philips branded phone made by the chinese manufacturer CECT. It has the same keyboard *0# position on the right side, the same place for volume buttons, same technical specifications. It's a good marketing move made by Philips, because it's a worldwide well known brand offering confidence instead the chinese manufacturer. I sell and use such CECT phones in Romania and all I can say is that they are really good phones, very good sound, good signal strength and the great ability to use 2 SIM cards in a single phone.
good review by: http://www.softpedia.com/
All made by CEC. China Electronics Company, who bought the whole Philips Mobile Phones business. The "Xenium" brand, which is associated with long-battery life, is transferred to CEC under the terms of the agreement. CEC has received an exclusive license to market and sell mobile phones under the Philips brand for the coming five years.
Isn't it that Philips mobile division was bought by a chinese company? specifications for this phone is actually the same as most cheap dual sim phones from china.
Dual sim-- Lettin ppl to put 2 sims card in one phone..just becuase u dont need 2 sim cards..doesnt mean tht is stupid```````
only drawback with this phone is the network
need to be quad 850/900/1800/1900.
Otherwise looks like a great phone, if the reception and battery are good.
What's not DUAL BAND about 900/1800?
Just cuz it can take 2 SIM's doesn't mean you can use it on more bands. This is purely for the Asia-Pacifics and Europe only.
looks like a Samsung made the phone...you can see distinct characteristics in the keypad as well as the chrome earpiece design.
Poor Phillips...trying to catch up to the market.
i can see these ppl don't care about the 300 million potential cutomers in america based on their dual band. too bad cause im trying to get a dual sim card phone for work and personal usage. does anyone know how i can go about purchasing the dual sim card doubao 728?
