Does anyone knows how to reset the fingerprint reader? Maybe I will get a used one, that is locked to first´s fingerprint owner. They say is not a problem using the phone, but I am not so sure about that.

some one notify philips company to launch these sort of style statement gadgets in india. Indian market have changed a lot.People are looking for style statements and sturdy tough products. They will make it affordable if it attracts, even if it is not affordable.

Just got this phone. Had to order it via ebay from Hong Kong. I live in The Netherlands. It is worth the money. Feels sturdy in the hand, comfortably heavy and substantial. Cool to the touch. Large and masculine. Buttons feel like they come from a military machine, precise yet sturdy. Nothing like it on the market in West Europe. Build quality better than an iPhone. Screen is excellent. Not many advanced functions but who needs them anyway? Boots up in 10 secs and you can use it immediately, no lags or frozen menus. Has a cool English interface theme with chineese characters as icons. Volume at max. raises the dead. For all people that want no-nonsense, no-frills, but an elegant minimalist and first of all functional communcation device, this is it. Will report on battery life after a few weeks when the first charge should expire heh.

I own one for 8 months and it is a great phone. Battery life up to 3 weeks, metal body, full touch screen. no 3G and no navigation. price 2000 RMB or 200 euro

Once I have read about Philips x710 that it also perform the same dual activity.

Form India, 21 Jul 2010Can anyone tell me that the philips dual sim phones are dual active means if we are calling f... moreDon't think so, all dual sim phones that I found are nothing but having 2 sim slots, and you need to press a button or go to the option to activate the other sim to use the other one. When one is used, the other one will "sleep", so it's kinda useless, at least to me. But I don't know if they already made improvements in this dual-sim thing.
