Niantic, the developer studio behind Pokemon Go is bringing some new updates to its hit AR game to cope with the global COVID-19 pandemic. The latest one is remote raid battles which will let trainers battle together and capture rare Pokemon all from the comfort of their home. Previously, raid battles required the player to go to a specific location.

Pokemon Go update brings remote raids

Niantic will add a new remote raid pass in the in-game store which will go for 100 pokecoins ($0.99), there will also be bundled packs later on. In addition, players can expect more habitats and pokestops with more gifts

Other upcoming indoor features include new Field Research tasks and Pokemon buddy gifts without the need to visit a Pokeshop.

exactly! also, considering self isolation is much safer now, it is absolutely greedy of these devs to not push out a free patch (or at least one that's free for a year and maybe paid later on)

Almost every Googel or IOS game is pay to win. And even if its free you have to pay to remove stupid advertising all the time.
