I'm using this phone and i just wanna ask if anyone using the same phone here have this rainbowish effect when you look at the screen at an angled view. Mine does this and it is a bit visible on white backgrounds.

I ended up buying this for my mom. It has everything she needs from this phone. Camera is good. Almost same quality as my realme11Pro+.
Design is a beauty. Price is reasonable. You'll see.

Hey guys,
I'm buying a phone for my mom and currently torn between these 4 phones which are almost EXACTLY the same price in my place:
1) Iqoo Z9 5G (SD 7 Gen 3 version) 8+256GB
2) Honor X9C 8+256GB
3) Realme 12+ 5G 12+256GB
4) Oppo Reno12 F 12+256GB
My criteria:
1) Reliable day-to-day performance (obviously she's not a gamer)
2) Good, dependable primary and selfie camera (My mom likes to take a lot of pictures but she won't explore the camera features like ultrawide, filters etc). It has to be a reliable point and shoot.
3) Great call quality
4) Good battery life.
I'm actually leaning towards the Iqoo Z9 (coz her current phone is a Vivo and the Z9 has the best chipset of thee 4) but the lack of OIS and only 16mpx selfie camera seems to be a concern. In reality, how good or bad is the camera compared to the other 3 options?
The Oppo Reno12 F seems to have the overall best camera specs on paper. But not sure how good it actually is.
Realme is budget brand of Oppo. So not sure if it's wise to choose the Realme 12+ considering I can get the Oppo Reno12 F at the same price. How much of a difference does the MTK Dimensity 7050 make compared to the MTK D6300 on the Reno12 F? Any other pros in the Realme?
Honor doesn't support WiFi 6. Not sure if that's a big deal breaker. Otherwise all the other specs looks solid. Not sure of it's camera performance either.
Which one would recommend if all these 4 are the same price?

I'm using for the past 8 month. My experiences about this phone is the signal receiver not very good.
Signal lost almost everyday even you at prime area.

very bad UI and black screen bug during call even remove from face and lock screen problem. Does not cleared in any update.

i buy this phone during last month because it drop price a lot (malaysia original price is rm1499 then now rm999 only), btw this phone's camera quite nice because it have OIS. and its battery also good and charging around one hour then full. 5G network also run smooth at my home. I just use it for play normal games everything is fine.

tb2, 26 Dec 2024To few Major updates and no OTG, what a disappointment.That's not true, OTG is available. The only problem is that you have to enable it in the options, and if you don't use it for more than 10 minutes, the option turns off automatically. It's a little bit annoying.

The video stabilization and hdr in videos also improves. Portrait mode doesn't work and nightsight is mid but the stock cam has decent portrait and night mode so its not an issue.

bought this one in Dubai around 800AED Battery Amazing around 8 Hours SOT with 20% Battery reamaining. update received but did not applied due to checking battery performance and i hear from people after update the battery time reduced to 6 hours only.camera is great in term of in this price screen is amazing as HDR 10+ available.

I don't really like the battery life of the smartphone. I get 24 hours with 5 hours of screen time. No games, no AOD. 2 sim cards (2g-3g-4g).

My RM 12 + has poor ram management, not consistently providing 60 fps game play, a lot of frame drops, and poor battery timing. This phone's hardware configuration is excellent but company didn't optimize this device.
