Why they used 2.0 Micro Usb instead Type C? it's already March 2019, but any ways, this budget phone is great on its price.
With Redmi Note 7 already launched and Redmi 7 is coming, I think by next month Realme to reduce their prices on Realme 3 series.
Thats good for consumers, more options is better..

in the oppo store it can be bought
Realme since May 2018 has launched 7 phones. Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1, Realme U1, Realme C1 (2019) and Realme 3.
Of these, Realme 2 was rebranded Oppo A5, Realme C1 and C1 (2019) were rebranded Oppo A3s. So basically what company has been doing is taking phones which have not sold well or flopped in various markets (due to high prices and mediocre specs), apply some makeup and lipstick and sell them as Realme products.
Now it's not a bad thing in itself since the prices are good. But by no standards do the phones offer cutting edge features or innovation in any way.
It would be safe to ssume this strategy will continue in future also. Oppo phone which have been launched recently and are not selling well, are likely to be launched as Realme 4, 5, 6....
I wish i bought this instead of Oppo a3s,but its ok i can find a case of this
Malaysia market selling RM699 for 4/64 version and RM599 for 3/32 version.Early bird got discount RM50 also.
Tae ng Pilipinas, 19 Mar 2019It doesnt matter if you buy the Realme C1 or the Oppo A3S, both companies are owned by BBK Ele... moreIf you see the reports for the past 2 years, Oppo / Vivo made a loss of INR 482 Crores in FY 2017 and a loss of INR 1225 Crores in first 6 months of FY 2018.
In the same period Xiaomi / Redmi has grown to take a 29% marketshare. The CEO of Oppo India had to resign due to losses not Xiaomi India.
So it is clear that this mess of having multiple brands is having an impact more on Oppo / Vivo than Xiaomi against whom the brand was built to compete with.
BBK is a funny Chinese company. Not content with 4 brands now they have launched one more in China Reno.

It may look like cannabalization, but still the company who owns these sub brands still win.
The product placement strategies by all the manufacturers show real deperatiin to get even a single phone sale. Case in point Realme 3 priced at 9000/-. Now in the Indian market Realme 2 is still available for 9500/- and C1 (3/32) for 8500/-. So which buyer will buy R2 or C1 now?
The same is happening between brands like Realme and Oppo. Realme C1 is basically a rebranded Oppo 3s. And the price difference is about 2500/-. So who will buy Oppo when you are getting the same phone for 2500/- less.
So not only ate brands cannibalising sales withung their own brand but also other brands from the same company.
A.K, 11 Mar 2019Is realme also display adds like redmi? No realme does not have ads
The only two brands (that I know) which have ads are xiaomi and samsung
Is Realme 3 have gyro? Since I see many Indonesian reviews (Global version) said it have and works well but GSMArena not write it.

B, 15 Mar 2019I think realme 3 is a great phone. I saw many hate comment about this phone, like the processo... moreAgree. Realme 3 can be compared with other budget phones like Samsung M10, C1, micromax N11 and N12 and variousbother budget offerings from companies like Techno Camon, Infinix etc.
It is just worng to compare with other devices like Redmi Note 7 or Redmi Note 7 pro, Galaxy M20, M30 etc which are in a different segment.
I think realme 3 is a great phone. I saw many hate comment about this phone, like the processor, or resolution of the screen. C'mon, target market of this phone is middle-down, so don't compare this phone to other phone with higher price.
The feeling I get from seeing Realme launch so many devices without a coherent product placement strategy is that they are using whatever components are left over from production of Oppo / Vivo phones in China, combining these together and launching a new device.
I mean out of the 5-7 devices the company has launched, majority are forgettable and have probably not sold well. The only bright sparks seem to be Realme 1 and Realme 2 Pro.
It would make better sense for the company to come out with fewer devices but killer devices in each price bracket. A killer device < 10000/- against which no other phone could compete in terms of specs. A killer device < 15000/- that takes on the likes of Redmi Pro or Honor devices. And a 20000 phone that takes on Poco or say likes of Nokia 7.1 / 8.1.
Realme 3 is another forgettable device. The company says its a upgrade for Realme 2 but I dont see why people who have a Realme 2 would buy it instead of Realme 2 Pro or Redmi Note 7 which have better specs.
Hi, Please spend your money on worthy snapdragon processor and others except mediatek, as their processors are always sub standard.
