I've none of the issues you mentioned. I feel like my device is much faster in every way and the handful of bugs I experienced on Pie are now gone.
The camera quality has slightly improved as well but I'd still prefer Gcam.
I did reset my phone right after the update. So I suggest you try the same before going through the trouble of rolling back. The update is pretty good and brought a lot of improvements with Android 10.
I don't understand what you mean by slow app menu and notification. It seems just as fast to me.
Are you referring to the animation scale? I've set it to 0 in Developer's Options. Try doing that.

Try moving DCIM and Downloads folder to external storage and reset your phone. Your data won't be deleted, except that you'll have to reinstall apps. Updates often cause problem in phones and reseting fixes it almost every time.
I didn't find anyone on official Realme 3 forum and Realme Facebook groups with your issue. Nor here on Gsmarena. Even if a update brings issues, the same issue is shared by many users.
It's not a lucky draw where one user gets 1 issue and second user gets another issue.

Realme 3 has fastest fingerprint sensor out of all phones in this price. Even Gsmarena said it's faster than many flagship phones.

My sister just called me, she Update to realme ui.... The fingerprint sensor becomes unusable. Might as well be a bitter lesson. If youre not tech savvy and your phone is alright... Better leave it be, dont update firmware unless really necessary, especially chinese phone. High risk of getting annoying bug and error installation more than the benefit of update offers

This latest update killed phone performance and now there's too much lag and bugs. How do I rollback!?!? Or do I have to root it now ? Fuxin handset makers forcing updates down your throat ugh!!!

I got 11.5 hours of SOT with 100% battery after update.
Note: it was on standby for around 12 hours so it would last longer in a non-stop test. And it's including 3.5 hours of PUBG at Smooth + Extreme FPS. So it's pretty good.
I think 3.5 hours of PUBG drained between 40-45% of battery but I might have lowered resolution.
Rest was 2.5 hours of MX Player playing FHD video,
2+ hours of FB,
40min Music Player,
some YouTube, TikTok, Whatsapp, Messenger, Google Drive, Browsing and Screen Recording.

The update improved the camera a little but ... moreI've compared this particular Gcam's portrait edge detection and details in pictures with my friend's iPhone 7 Plus. And I found it to be notably better. My friend also agreed.
With this Gcam, its camera is also much better than Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 (also a friend's). When we go out, we usually use my phone for taking pics instead of his. Especially when there is low light.
Only if the Gcam didn't have lag... It kind of ruins the camera experience, as you've to keep phone still.

You can use Gcam which does take excellent pictures and videos but problem is that you've to wait for it to click pics or if you resort to ZSL HDR which clicks immediately, the camera has lag.
The best Gcam I've found is:
GCam_7.2.018_marlin_test.apk by onFire.
It has best portrait edge (better than iPhone 7 Plus) as well as blur quality, high detail, low noise and colours are accurate as well.
But you need to adjust its Lib Patcher before using it.

I think App Quick Freeze is similar to Greenify on rooted devices. Very useful, but they should add a homescreen short cut for it just like Greenify's "Hibernate Now".
I'm loving the update so far. They also added a performance mode that you can access in Battery section. Using that with Game Space for PUBG works great.
Yeah, previous notification bar was more appealing but this one is equally useful. I also like that they added Screen Cast in Notification Bar, so I can stream on TV/LED.
And yup, I also love the quick app switch feature. If you draw a semi circle/rainbow at the bottom of your screen, you will switch to previous app.
We don't have to waste time opening Recent App list to switch between apps anymore.
Though I'm using swipe up navigation bar of Realme OS instead of original Android 10. Android 10 navigation is similar but it gets in way of glide typing, like if I glide from "P", it would trigger the "Return/Go back" gesture.
Gyroscope has become very quick. It's finally usable in PUBG. I played PUBG sniper TDM and it improved my aim a lot, even though it was my first time trying Gyro. I got 17 kills in very first Sniper TDM with Gyro.
I've also noticed that app switch speed has increased a lot. If you click on a YouTube link on Google, YouTube app opens immediately and video starts playing just a second later.

New C3 is also very power full ( for gaming) but camera is its weak point. Also new realme phones are getting bigger and bigger.

Overall am satisfied with realme ui , but i don't like notification bar that much because it looks like its from one ui. I also like 'swipe gestures from both side'.

They're the only Realme phones with weak chipsets, but C1 is still powerful enough for normal usage like FB/YouTube etc. Just weak for games.

Main highlights are:
- Internal sound recording in screen recordings
- Improved camera quality
- Improved battery
- Improved Gyroscope delay (for games)
- Improved sliding accuracy in games.

All of Realme phones have good performance as far as I know. Don't think Redmi and Realme are same. MIUI phones always haver lower performance.
And care to explain what hardware issue results in a 12+ hour SOT phone to give 3 hour SOT and make Helio P60/70 lag?
And why don't people like him make a second comment about their issue?
They just come, spout far fetched nonsense that only tech-dumb people would believe and disappear. You never hear from them again.
You would know he was lying if you knew anything about phones.

Anonymous, 14 May 2020I am getting less sot after update what the hell is this i am getting only 2 hours of sot What update?. u mean realme ui?. please backup ur phone and reset ur phone and see if the problems exist. i am also using 4/64GB version and i have no issues. i did not even factory reset after updating to realme ui.
