In 6-7 months, there would be more stable custom rom for realme 5.

And all phones updates are delayed due to COVID-19 situation. My Realme 3 was supposed to get Android 10 in late April but I got it in mid May. Same for my friend's Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.
Is that really a problem?
If you wanted custom ROMs, it's your fault for not checking before buying. Realme is only responsible for original updates.
Good luck with Xiaomi/Redmi phones. Redmi Note 7 has same situation as Realme 5 regarding Android 10.
Majority of Xiaomi/Redmi phones have weak signal reception, lower performance than their chipsets, poor battery, heating issue and more complaints/problems than any other brand.

This is just a crappy phone. Touch screen is horrible. Well realme said realme 5 gonna have an android 10 realme ui update by may. And it never happened. Yes they roll out update but for selected persons only. They dont give realme ui update for all realme 5 users. Also no development for this phone from other developers like a custom rom. There are few but all got bug and never been updated. So yeah this phone is good as dead. Cant even get out of the crappy colorOS. I sold mine for very cheap. Not gonna buy a realme phone again. Id prefer xiaomi.

While for pubg lovers the thing to note here is the... moreFalse. I've checked FPS tests.
Even SD660 is better than SD665.
1. Realme C3 with Helio G70 gave stable 40FPS on Smooth graphics.
While Realme 5 was struggling to give 30FPS.
2. You can also compare original Gsmarena tests/benchmark of Redmi Note 8 (SD665) with Nokia 7 Plus (SD660), Oppo F7 (Helio P60), Huawei P30 Lite (Kirin 710).
SD665 gives lower FPS than even Helio P60 and you think it's *way* more powerful than Helio G70?
Lastly, Infinix Note 7 has Virtual Gyroscope which makes use of data from other sensors to mimic Gyro sensor. It's fast enough for PUBG.
I've another phone with Virtual Gyroscope, Realme 3, and I'm a Ace in PUBG. It works well. But if your gameplay/aiming is completely dependent on Gyroscope, then yes, you should go for a phone with real Gyro sensor like Nokia 7 Plus.

Ask, 10 Oct 2019Realme 5 or Redmi note 8 I don't know what phone is the best budget phone for gamersi prefer realme 5 pro over redmi note 8.It has a better processor and a better gpu. I suggest it for gaming over redmi note 8.Also it Doesn't have heating issue like the xiaomi devices.So buy the realme 5 pro.u will love it
