I just updated mine as of today.No problems so far ~ it's actually much faster and as I could tell, the antivirus settings works good too ( I've downloaded an app in Play Store with virus, as the phone states - and it was deleted right after ( with confirmation of deletion ). :)

~ Long-term review about this phone ~
PS: It's just my opinion and my experiences within the phone - Feel free to judge and hope it helps!
Pros:
• Upgradable to Android 10 ( Received as a gift last May of 2020 - Android 9, Pie )
•The phone is budget-friendly if you're looking for a good phone
• 5000 mah battery life that could last for 1.5 - 3 days )moderate use) and half-day for very heavy use ( Continuous gaming and social media )
• Capable of 4k recording (Rear camera)
• Expandable memory
• Can handle heavy and multiple apps ( I have more than 70 apps running, includes 4 gigabytes of Games )
•It could handle heavy games such ML, LoL: Wild Rift, and GTA: San Andreas (which is 2 gb) It runs smoothly in GTA (w/ highest quality in-game) but the ML suffers some lags but could play well too in a good quality.
Cons:
• The front camera suffers ( In low-light ) for its price but could shoot good quality photos
• Brightness is very bright in dark locations
• Sometimes laggy and slow processing of apps at the same time ( Though capable of split-screen mode ) ( Just happened once )
• Volume not so loud but clear especially in video streaming and online classes (I'd prefer to use earphones)
•Package doesn't include earphones
• Static touch or ghost touch tend to happen more often (don't use if your hands are wet or in sweat.
• After the update, ( I didn't know if it's the Android version update or the security update ) the rear fingerprint scanner just didn't work ( Due to update maybe? ) Tell me if you know, Thanks!
Overall, it's a good daily driver and could handle daily apps. It also features such good specifications and prestige details ; just don't use it when charging because it will decrease the battery life.

Saif, 05 Jan 2021I purchased this device two month ago during this period device performance is too good and sm... morefor me, the most stable update is c.59 but when I downloaded c.61, it shows some problems like lower fps in the games. then I rolled back to android 9 because of it. as of now, I didnt face any issues.

I purchased this device two month ago during this period device performance is too good and smooth software version andriod 9 (Pie) not update to andriod 10. I read many comments of users that after update to andriod 10 device facing hanging problem battery drainage, slow etc. I received andriod 10 C53 update 2.85gb any one suggest me i update to andriod 10 or not and also tell me which update is stable C53/ C59 or C61

Don't know how they comes with those bad review. Been using this for about 4 months. Its fine, for its price range. I'm a non gamer, but nonstop user, never lagged, never slowed down.
Though the Charging is taking some more time, Battery performance is fine. U can easily go for it without hesitation, if u need a budget phone.

Been using this phone for months its a good phone can handle most game cod,lolwildrift and ML smoothly but sadly cant handle genshin impact....its battery is good too ..one time i fell asleep while watching youtube around 12am and i woke up around 7am my phone hot burning buy still up xD ...... If your up to multitasking this phone has bit of a struggle there but if ur just looking for the performance its good ... Cant review the camera since im more on gaming but on my opinion its also good

Anonymous, 30 Dec 2020guys this phone or redmi 9c which one should i buy im confused i wanna take cool picsrealme 5i 100% but if you want miui go for redmi 9c
realme 5i has better cam and chipset
but 9c is also decent.
