I just bought realms 5i and have started to update my phone it has got 30% installation...but now I HV read these comments so should I update this phone or not please tell...and if I update my phone today and if update makes my phone laggy can I go and claim my warranty????please help

Anonymous, 06 Nov 2020it's trash, don't buy it. never update your phone or it will reduce its lifespan and... moreThats not true realme makes great phones but thier i series just isn't good my current phone is realme 5 pro the first android 10 update was really bad and slow the second one fixed most problems it got rid of alot of the lag it was still slower than stock but it was good enough definitely not worth risking a downgrade as for realme 5i if ur budget is only that little and u cant afford the realme 5 pro go for redmi note 8 its same cpu but non of these issues the only thing its going to be bad at is updates it will probably be stuck on android 9 for a while.

after the first update, the apps lag after you use it but after numerous updates it operates smoothly, i preffer this phone, if your a gamer not a hardcore this phone can do.....

it's trash, don't buy it. never update your phone or it will reduce its lifespan and just hangs every time ypu open an app. or better to not choose realme.

It doesn't connect with Bluetooth headphones. Has same specs as my old phone,but doesn't connect to same headphones which worked well with old phone.

I have a problem on this device realme 5i. Whenever i am playing like codm, pubgm, wild rift. My phone keeps lagging and there's a sound like echoing like "tooooooooooottttttt". But my internet is always good, it's always 4G. So i really don't know what is the problem. I hope you can do an action on this.

Mine is very smooth.
First 2 android 10 updates made my phone slow but c57 and c59 updates made my phone fast.

My realme 5i keeps on turning on and off.
The screen froze then went black then turned it on and off.

Ok finally saw the ota for c59 and updated it. Nothing changed for me. Neither improved nor worsened my phone.
I already configured my phone to be fast before c59 and it didn't changed anything aside from update the security patch.

I WOULDENT take the risk if I were u I recommend going for xioami redmi note 8 it has bassicaly same specs but much better optimizations
