realme Android Rumors

Last week, Flipkart confirmed the upcoming Realme 5s and we got to see some promotional images and most of the preliminary specs of the device as well. Now a Geekbench confirms what we saw earlier and leaves little unknowns ahead of the November 20 launch event.

The device was spotted with the realme RMX1925 model number and packs the Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with 4GB RAM. It managed 314 points in the single-core test and 1,386 points in the multi-core department, running on Android 9 Pie.

Previously we got confirmation that the devices will come with a 6.5-inch 720p display and a 5,000 mAh battery just like the regular Realme 5. One of the only differences will come around the back where the new 5s will pack a 48MP main camera.

It remains to be seen if any other changes will be made. The Realme 5s is scheduled to be announced on November 20 in India and early speculations point to an INR 8,999 ($125) starting price.

It's amazing how some manufacturers are still launching phones with Android 9 when Android 10 is already released by Google. Come on... it's high time to adapt to Android 10.
