After scouring various reviews there is one reason i wont be buying the realme 6, light bleed around the edges in the panel. Forget using dark wallpaper and viewing dark screens. Otherwise i would have bought one by now

I have use this phone for about 2 weeks since 23 May 2020. Here's my own opinion about this phone.
1. Price is great (MYR1198). If you compared with the same price range phone, you won't find 90Hz display and 30 watt charger at this price point.
2. 90Hz display!
3. Super fast 30 watt charging. Remember to use original charger and cable if you want your phone charge faster.
4. Gaming at max settings!
5. Antutu benchmark scores very close to Qualcomm SD730G.
6. Best camera at 64 megapixels.
7. Battery lasts 1 whole day for hardcore users.
Suitable for:
-Gamers
-Photographers
-For those who are emergency need a fast charger (eg: forgot to charge the phone before go out)
Not suitable for:
-people doesn't like large screen phone
-doesn't use many task (unless you take 4GB variant)

In many ways equal and in many ways much better than a redmi note 8 pro, but way less appreciated, it's really puzzling.

Im buying one tomorrow with s... morefor sure with this performance it will last for 2 years maybe 3 ,but as every lithium device it will need battery replacement after 2.5/3 years, the battery life will still be good without replacement but it will be lower than first time.
hope to see graphine in the near future.

Just by reading many of the comments here (impossible to read them all), I bought the Realme 6 instead of the Xiaomi Note Pro 8. Realme is a bit more expensive than Note 8 Pro here in Mexico, but your opinions and reviews changed my mind.

The only problem is ... moreDon't think that Samsung's A series in 2020 are the same thing as the older 2016-2017 A series, Samsung know uses same material and production methods as their chinese counterparts.
So unless you want that oled screen so much, go for realme.

the reason i buy this device is 90hz and Vooc 30W, and it says as advertised...pro display pro camera even pro charging speed for this price range...thx.
its bit warm in high graphic game mode but its normal not heated.

Have been using the 8gb 128gb variant for 2 weeks now. It has been a wonderful experience. This phone has changed my views about midrange category. I am an iphone 11 user and use Android as secondary. I must say for day to day use, realme 6 feels as smooth as my iPhone 11 ( no exaggerating here).
Bought realme phone for the first time and i am impressed. The phone is great and so is the UI. Its smooth, has 90 hz refresh rate, charges crazy fast, battery lasts well and has good looks (although plastic back). Cant ask for much.
Job well done Realme and looking forward to realje devices in future.
Note: I am not into gaming so dont know how it performs when gaming
