Realme GT5 Pro specs revealed – 6.78” AMOLED, SD 8 Gen 3 and up to 1TB storage

We already saw the Realme GT5 Pro (RMX3888) listed on China's state telecommunications certification authority (TENAA) and that listing has now been populated with some of its key specs.

GT5 Pro will bring a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1264 x 2780px resolution, an embedded fingerprint scanner and a 32MP front-facing camera. The device will be offered in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage trims with 8GB,12GB or 16GB RAM. As for the chipset, the listing confirms an 8-core CPU with a base frequency of 3.3GHz, which falls in line with the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 from Qualcomm.

The back will house a 50MP main cam which is rumored to be a brand-new Sony IMX966 with a 1/1.4” size and it will be joined by a 50MP telephoto module (IMX890) which will offer 2.7x optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide lens.

Realme GT5 Pro’s listed dimensions are 161.6 x 75.1 x 9.2 mm and it weighs 220 grams. The phone boots Android 14 and features a 5,260 mAh battery though there are no details on charging speeds for now.

Why are you guys fighting over lenses? How about just buying an accessory that help you take photos you want? You have money to blow on SD 8 Gen 3 device. Surely, an extra accessory would be peanuts for you.

My smartphone with x2 optical zoom, I can take decent photos at x4 but cannot go beyond because the quality drops significantly. A x3 optical zoom with a 1/2" 64MP sensor allows you to take nice x6 hybrid photos. A x3 optical zoom also allows y...
