Realme has decided to separate the Neo series from the GT lineup. Realme VP and Global Marketing President Xu Qi Chase made the announcement on Weibo. The GT will be the high-end "performance flagship series", while Neo will be the "midrange e-sports flagship".

The first phone in the newly standalone series will be the Realme Neo7 in December. Xu Qi Chase highlighted previous achievements of the GT Neo phones' - the first 240W charging and 6,000 nit display in a Realme phone.

He promised that the newly minted Neo series will have three key priorities - "cross-level performance, leading gaming experience, and technological trend design."
