The third installment in Realme’s Android tablet range is here with the Realme Pad X. The slate brings an 11-inch FHD+ LCD, Snapdragon 695, stylus support and an 8,340 mAh battery.

Realme Pad X brings a 2000x1200px display with a 5:3 aspect ratio and 450nits of peak brightness. The tablet also supports a pressure-sensitive stylus which is sold separately. There’s an 8MP front-facing camera with a 105-degree wide-angle lens while the back gets a 13MP primary shooter.

The tablet is 7.1mm thin and weighs in just 499 grams. Realme packed quad speakers with Dolby Atmos for media consumption and Hi-Res Audio support. Qualcomm’s midrange Snapdragon 695 sits at the helm aided by 4/6GB RAM and up to 128GB built-in storage which is expandable via microSD. The software side is covered by Realme UI 3.0 for Pad. The tablet’s 8,340mAh battery charges at 33W speeds.

Realme Pad X comes in fluorescent green, sea blue, and star gray colors. THe baseline 4/64GB trim starts at CNY 1,299 ($193) while the top-end 6/128GB model will go for CNY 1,599 ($237). Open sales in China start on May 31. No word on international availability at this point in time.

i wouldn't mind a mediatek SOC, if tablet was then faster and cheaper. also, why can't all tablets have a fingerprint reader already? battery is big, tablet is light and thin. keyboard accessory? (I remember the nice Asus Transformer ser...

16:10 is not good for multitasking, unless you use it as a notebook, which makes it pointless as a tablet. And no, ergonomics mostly contributes iPad dominance.
