Realme UI Version: V2.0
Android Version: 11
Android Security Patch: 5th Nov, 2021
Build Number: RMX1931EX_11_F.14
Realme did keep the promise of two consecutive Android updates from Android 9 to Android 11, but did fall short of 3 years of Android security patch updates.

I think it's the best phone you can get under $600 that defeats any Samsung or Apple device in the price range. You won't get an LTPO 2.0 1440p screen under $600 that has excellent cameras and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
I bought this phone on the first sale. loved it. it has everything. after just two years, realme ahs stopped updates. unbelievable... smh. no android 12. not even realme ui 3. atleat give us security updates ffs. I will never buy a realme phone again. treating customers like sh!t. better go for samsung or apple.

This is probably the last Realme phone that gave you bang for the buck.
The Realme Gt2 Pro is also very good but for the price, Apple or Samsung is a better option.
Claude Stanchev, 30 May 2022They just don't make them like this. Right bro.. they do not make such masterpieces anymore.
Realme X2 Pro is a complete package, a very well balanced & fine tuned flagship phone. I will prefer it over any other flagships released by Realme later on as they miss on even some basic amenities like a 3.5mm audio jack. My X2 Pro is a keeper.
Claude Stanchev, 30 May 2022They just don't make them like this. Only phone that has remote value as this is 9 Pro+, but even that's overpriced

I thought to have one but just then Realme threw the bomb. At $300 we were having Realme X7 Max with the Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, Samsung AMOLED display and 3.5mm audio jack. At 300 bucks, it is the king of all new smartphones. No wonder Realme stopped production of X7 Max in India, it was eating up the entire Realme portfolio. Realme did the same thing with X2 Pro.
Production of exceptional phones does not last long.

This holds true for every smartphone manufacturer as of today. Every new Android version runs slower than the last version. This trend is now very pronounced from 2020 onwards.
My Realme X7 Max/ Realme GT Neo is a hell of a device on Android 11. At INR 22.8K ($300, €266) it will obliterate any phone under $400 with its Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM & 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. However those who have updated to Android 12 are facing many issues which remains unresolved. Some are even considering selling the phone for the botched software. Hence I have decided to stick to Android 11 as of now.
Realme X2 Pro is considered by many as Realme's masterpiece. Its software situation of this phone have reached EOF so you are stuck with Android 11 with Nov, 2021 security patch. However the software situation have not deteriorated on this phone as it was a 2019 device. X2 Pro's on performance front still is as good as X7 Max even today. Actually the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM & 256 GB UFS 3.0 storage of X2 Pro seems slightly better than X7 Max. Not to mention the metal built quality and classic looks. This phone in Pearl White color is a looker. Grab it if you can.

1. Slow speed internet on WiFi 2,4 GHz doesn't fix

Next time I plan to buy realme X2 Pro.

Right now I have two Realme phones X2 Pro & X7 Max. Both phones impressed me a lot in the hardware part, however it seems right now X7 Max have lot of issues with Android 12 update. As such I am still with A11.
On the other hand X2 Pro have reached its EOL at a very early date (2 years & 3 months) and Realme is no more interested to provide security patch updates on this phone.

Should I choose Realme X2 Pro or Oppo Reno Ace at this point, I read information that the hardware of the reno ace is a bit better but also need to look again at the speaker specs when the x2 pro is equipped with dolby technology.I wonder if reno ace owns it too

That is short of the usual 3 years security patch for a flagship. Really not a good move by Realme to abandon the phone so early.
