Have a nice day!
TaReQa, 03 Dec 2019Thanks for your review..
Do you recommend Realme X2 Pro or Oneplus 7t? Or same same...Putting the hardware to one side for a moment - I'd definitely advise to go with the OnePlus just due to Oxygen OS.
Oxygen os is extremely optimised/fluid, responsive and very very user friendly - the overall experience of using the device will be more pleasant.
Until realme/Colos OS improve the software experience - the only thing going for the realme is the hardware and low cost.
There is no denying you get a lot of top spec hardware at a lower cost - but since buying the x2 pro, I'm not impressed by the actual UI or the experience of using it.
The 90mhz screen makes a huge difference when using it - but color os is still so cluttered and unfriendly. You can't even slide away notifications properly when they pop up while surfing or watching a movie. It's really annoying. The notifications have to be set for every individual app manually. Yes it offers a large amount of customisation, but it's also a tiresome laborious task, where Oxygen os or even EMUI, you can very quickly and easily set the notifications.
That's just one example of a UI annoyance. There seems to be a few.

It has amazing hardware, but the user experience is not fantastic.
It just is not up to par with EMUI, Samsung etc.
Software/UI plays a HUGE part in the overall experience - and Color OS just isn't quite there yet. It just feels sluggish, unrefined & cluttered - and some bloatware is forced into the OS without any option to disable or uninstall it.
I'd personally advise to wait before trading your P30/EMUI for a Colos OS device.
I've used a P30 in the past, and it's very user friendly and fluid/fast.
I didn't appreciate EMUI before (i thought it was too much of a heavy skin compared to stock android), but since using Color OS, I've realised so intuitive/fluid and fast EMUI is and I appreciate much more.
Samsungs ONE UI is awesome too.
I'm hoping Colos OS 7 will vastly improve the overall experience, and if not, I'm hoping realme's own OS which is in development, will be the answer.
In the meantime, I'd advise to hold on for a few more months.
which one is better?
X2 pro, Oneplus 7t, or Oppo reno ace ?
Is this a good option to replace my P30 as a daily driver? Important specs would be battery back up and camera performance (point and shoot).
I'm in a hunt for other OEM models aside from Huawei, Sammy and Apple.
Please suggest between Realme x2pro and Mi 10 pro

Phones ok chinese brand comes woth their customised android based UI.. Yes, it provides many more features compared to stock android but also it includes many Bloatwares and unwanted apps, most of which you cannot uninstall or remove.. otherwise they provide pretty good hardware for a phone in very affordable price.. which is a plus
Have the EU model, using it in the UK. 8gb ram.
I cannot use the internet during a call (can only use the internet during a call when connected to wifi and but not 4g).
Gps module takes a while to connect to satellites, and it gets confused in central London, often losing connection and giving incorrect directions.
The screen causes a fair amount of eye strain after prolonged use.
The dolby atmos is basically useless. Cannot use it with Bluetooth devices, or access it in split screen mode to adjust settings (when watching a youtube music video etc). So far, it only works when listening to music via music player app.
Volume via headphone jack is only ok.
Camera is hit and miss. Some shots come out absolutely amazing/stunning, while others sometimes come out a bit mediocre?
Video quality is great in daylight. Questionable results though, during low light. No stability on front cam?!!
Camera Zoom creates a lot of distortion/noise.
The mic for recording is good but doesn't record well with loud music, so I wouldn't advise to take this to record at a concert etc.
Software is still slightly buggy/laggy and feels unrefined.
Unable to uninstall some apps as color os won't allow you to.
Cannot uninstall/disable the battery hogging digital wellbeing, which is a potent resource user.
Facebook (installer, manager, services) cannot be uninstalled, and only disabled. Bloatware.
Avast/360 constantly running. Unable to disable/uninstall.
User experience app constantly running in processes. Unable to disable.
Plus points - battery life is good. Stereo speakers are good. Gaming is good and very smooth. Watching movies/videos is good on screen and listening to sound via stereo speakers.

If you can afford this X2 Pro it means you can afford a Oneplus 7T. You'll get at least 3 OS upgrade, save your self a piece of mind, unless Oneplus 7T really is not available at your local store and you can only find X2 Pro and if you're after these specs.

Just take which ever you can afford. Meaning if you can afford Realme X2 Pro, of course is much better.
However if you think it is too expensive, then stay with Mi9T Pro.
Both are the best budget high end smartphone you can buy for the price. Advantage Realme X2 Pro over Mi9T Pro would be bigger storage and RAM, UFS 3.0, 90hz screen, 50 watt charging, 855+ chipset. However, Realme X2 Pro comes with notched screen, while Mi9T Pro is notchless.
Why no 4g+ in Realme X2 Pro
Even the 1 year old Poco F1 has it.
Took 2 Jio SIM on same plan, inserted in Realme and Poco. Held together and did speed test.
Average speed on multiple tests.
Relalme X2 Pro - 15Mbps
Poco F1 - 50Mbps
Why a flagship killer doesn't even have a crucial feature which was even there in last year's phones?.
Deeply disappointed.
