the placement of the realme logo is so awkward !! anyway who cares, everyone is using their own protective colorful/design case.

Finally got a 12/256 version of Realme X2 Pro a few days ago and even after buying it I was not convinced because of some youtubers reviews most of them based on earlier versions or Chinese versions. But after a few days I’m pleased I bought it! Here are my pros and cons so far.
Pros: Super Amoled is really good on pair with other high end phones, just try the build in youtube player (not the browser) to play any 4K, HDR video and you’ll see what I mean; 50W charging indeed takes +-30 mins to fully charge battery (100%). I was expecting along with high temperatures but no, just a warm battery (not HOT) similar to standard phones charging at 2A (you can also use lower power chargers); Sound quality is very good, audio level at 50% is enough to call it high! Also remember this phone has two stereo speakers! (Tip. Leave Dolby Atmos enabled and set to “Music” for balanced sound); Finger print sensor is very fast but also precise even after applying a screen protector (tip. Reregister fingerprints after applying screen protector); ColourOS is a good surprise! Initially I was thinking to buy this phone and then switch OS as soon as possible (LineageOS crossed my mind) but after using COS for a few days I don’t see a reason to change it! (tip. You can use phone with no navigation key, just change navigation mode to Swipe Gestures it’s really nice!; Battery easily crosses 24h and sometimes is near to 48h (at least for me!!). I’ve just checked battery menu and is saying Used: 1 days 23 hours, Screen On: 8 hours 23 mins and Available: 9 hours and 29 mins (this comprises most of the time exploring the new toy, less than 1h playing TV streaming, a lot of software installation and setup, a few test photos and YouTube videos, 2h browsing Internet, 1h on social apps,…no gaming yet!). Settings in use: smart performance mode on (default), sleep standby optimization on, screen is off - not using always on clock and stuff, auto screen off set to 2 mins. Also related with battery use you can choose when to use 60Hz or 90Hz screen refresh rate and improve battery life; Good sound quality for phone calls on both handheld and hands-free operation, speaker or mic both are good no complaints so far!
No time to use camera properly … just a few photos but quality is high and software simple to use, really liked the SLO-MO mode and the expert mode user interface.
Cons: slightly heavy but far from becoming uncomfortable even for long usage periods (weight well balanced on hands); Screen ratio means small side bars when horizontal (yes you can zoom or fit image to get full screen, so not really a problem); Audio level is usable up to 90% since audio quality diminishes above that, but still usable and very loud; No notification LED (really Realme? A tiny led!) ; No built-in radio, not a must but nice to have (mixed info seams there are X2 pro versions with radio?); No SD card slot means that you should (must?) go for 128 or 256GB versions, also notice that these versions include UFS3.0; Bluetooth Aptx does not show up on phone specs at GSMArena, but someone at Xda-developers says it does support stating “Aptx HD is standard on all Snapdragon phones after Android 8.1….” can anyone confirm this?
Someone asked about updates, my phone 1st update was android security patch from 5th of November 2019.
My phone model is RMX1931 version RMC1931EX_11_A.06.

While using OP7t we feel using a premium device largely due to the uncluttered and polished user experience due to oxygen OS, X2 pro feels a bit underwhelming bcoz of the cheap color quotient and also a bit unresponsive at times.battery back up also nothing to shout about, as both are in a way same.BRAND VALUE IS A BIG FACTOR AS WELL AS TIMELY UPDATES. i would say x2 pro is mass and Op7t is class.Camera bump is subjective as iphone and pixels are having it and its gonna be the design trend of 2020.

I'm in a country (France) having developped widely the 700mz (28) mainly with "Free" opoerator, and it's perfectly working. I'm really impressed with this phone.

How is the phone? Battery life? Gaming overheat? Any major issue? How frequent does realme do security updates? I am thinking of getting however the model likely coming to Malaysia isn't low end spec for original my set it likely be 12/256 for 2500 ringgit. Coming Dec 2. I am considering this as well as Samsung Note 10+ oneplus 7t pro. If they come with low end spec officially I would get in heartbeat

Bought it direct from their online shop in China for China market (not eu). Absolutely the best phone I ever had. Works with Tmobile (US), Giffgaff (UK), Chinamobile (China) sims. Camera is really amazing. Superfast charging. Playing PUBG & never overheats. Lots of nice bells & whistles. Bought this over huawei, xiaomi, oneplus, vivo latest releases.
