Realme is expanding its presence in Europe and now has offerings ranging from the entry to the flagship level. While the new flagship X2 Pro was unveiled earlier today in China it’s now making its way to Europe alongside the Realme 5 Pro and the vanilla Realme X2. Together these three will aim to compete with the likes of Xiaomi and Samsung in the Old Continent.
The Realme X2 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch “Fluid” Super AMOLED display of FHD+ resolution. There is a reworked UD fingerprint scanner that brings faster unlock speeds. Speaking of speed the phone is packing the Snapdragon 855+ chipset paired with 6/8/12 GB RAM and 64/256GB storage. The 6/64 GB version comes with UFS 2.1 storage while the top 8/256 GB one levels up to UFS 3.0. Sadly there’s no microSD expansion.
Going around the back the phone brings a quad-camera with a 64MP Samsung GW1 main sensor. There’s also a 13MP telephoto shooter, 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor all lined vertically in the upper half of the back. The phone will ship with Android 9 Pie on launch with ColorOS 6.1 on top. The battery is 4,000 mah and supports 50W SuperVOOC fast charging with PD and Qualcomm Quick Charge support.
The Realme X2 Pro will go for €399 in the 6/64GB trim and €449 for the 8/128GB model. The “Beast version” with 12/256 GB will sell for €499. Sales are scheduled to begin in early November.
The Realme X2 is a toned-down version of its pro sibling with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. There’s a quad-camera setup (64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP) on the back alongside a 4,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging. Under the hood, we have the Snapdragon 730 chipset alongside 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The Realme X2 will set buyers back €300 and will be offered in an 8/128 GB trim starting October 29.
The Realme 5 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS display and quad-camera setup with a 48MP main shooter. The other three are an 8MP ultrawide snapper, 2MP macro cam and a 2MP depth sensor. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 712 SoC and comes with 4/8GB RAM alongside 128GB storage.
The Realme 5 Pro will start at €199 for the 4/128GB model and €249 for the 8/128GB version. It will be available from October 18.
Can you plz give me more insight on the OS - never used one never experienced COLOR ?!?! What's the pros n cons ?!?!
no 90hz refresh on the X2. Everyone who has seen a 90hz display say its a must. I will get the Pro with the 90hz
X2 with SD730G + 8/128GB + 30W fast charging (4000mAh battery) + 64MP quad camera (64mp+8mp+2mp+2mp) I don't care if it does have notch, simply that setting for 300 EUR (299 EUR exactly) is best deal I've ever seen.
