Realme Android 5G Announcement

Realme's 5G lineup gets a third member today as the X50m 5G joins the X50 and X50 Pro.

The Realme X50m 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC, which is the same chipset that powers the vanilla X50. The smartphone runs Android 10-based Realme UI out of the box and has two memory options - 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB.

The X50m 5G packs a 6.57" 20:9 120Hz LCD of FullHD+ resolution with a pill-shaped punch hole in the upper-left corner for the 16MP wide and 2MP depth cameras.

The back of the Realme X50m 5G, which is reminiscent of the Realme 6, is home to a quad camera setup comprising a 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide (119-degree FOV), 2MP macro and 2MP portrait units.

The X50m 5G comes with the UIS Max video recording feature introduced with the Realme 6 Pro and can record 120 FPS slow-motion videos with the 16MP selfie camera.

The Snapdragon 765G-powered smartphone supports dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA) and comes with NFC and Bluetooth 5.0 chips.

Other highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Liquid Copper Tube Cooling 3.0 (machine translated from Chinese), and Dolby Sound and Hi-Res Audio for a better audio experience. However, the X50m 5G doesn't have the 3.5mm headphone jack, so you'll have to use the USB-C port for listening to music through wired earphones.

Fueling the entire package is a 4,200 mAh battery with 30W Dart Fast Charging support, which can juice up the cell from flat to 70% in 30 minutes.

The Realme X50m 5G starts at CNY1,999 ($280/€260) and comes in Starry Blue and Galaxy White colors. It will go on sale in China from April 29, but there's no word on international availability.

sadly, too many people now wants everything top dollar has to offer but without the high price... it's possible to achieve, either go for an older 'top dollar' model of two years or get a used/resale unit few months into date of releas...
