The primary selling points for this phone:
- The overall design and finish, especially for its price.
- The screen is premium flagship grade. The best display in this price range, better than the displays used on most of $700 (or over) 2020 flagship smartphones. If you want to be more specific, it is better than any displays used in the history of ASUS, HTC, Motorola, Redmi, Realme (before x7 Pro), Honor, Google, Lenovo, Nokia smartphones.
The weak points:
Camera system, especially if you compare it with Redmi Note 9 Pro (SD750, 108MP HM2).

FYI, as of the current date, all games are capped at 60 fps on this device even with a 120 hz display. Hope they have an update for a fix coming soon since I've already ordered the phone.

Again Realme using filler cameras that I hate the most. Why can't these companies just give 2 or 3 decent cameras with good resolution and picture quality instead of throwing bunch of cameras for name sake.

this brand r fantastic, u can't see it in any other hands everyday👍 too easy install google play, just search in youtube smartisan google play

all this models they have pre-install Global Rom from Alibaba & of course 157mm tall, that u can't find this tall in any new phone. @ least 98 percent of them have more than 161mm.
just mention this to seller, u want original Global pack, not the model that unlock bootloader of it to change rom manually.
Mi 9t pro have chinese version Redmi k20 pro. i used chinese version before & with unlock bootloader, i install Global rom of Mi 9t pro on it with no problem & 4G its okay for me.
u know why i say that, bcuz in ur area the phone that comes with chinese rom doesn't have good 4G signal.
so just buy original Global pack

even if in future, they release for ur current model Global Rom
& u change it manually. bcuz u have chinese version originally + u don't have good 4g signal. ur bad signal exprience will not go anywhere. u will just exprience more language in setting + no bloatware chinese app
as my exprience in my area, most of the time when ppl buying chinese version of Oppo, vivo they r complaint about bad 4g signal. but i didn't hear any complaint about bad 4g signal when they buy MI products even with chinese rom.
anyway such things it depend to ur area

This is the last time i buy a smartphone in China.
I thought i did my homework well.
Most of the bands of the X7 Pro are supported here. But i think the China ROM is focused on the china bands (first).
I also watched tons of videos on Youtube. Most of them from India people. One day i saw in a video that the poster selected a region and after that the language. When she scrolled down, i saw even the language of my hometown, so then i was convinced to buy this phone. Now i think that Realme had send her (i think a influencer) kind of a global version, at least not a China version, for her to test it and for commercial purpose? If i had knew that the region option was missing in de CN version, i wouldn't had bought it.

I already tried this trick. It worked ok, i had 4G constantly, but the problem was that i had max 1 bar signal and then no signal at all. So i set it back to LTE/CDMA/UMTS auto (PRL) and now i have full 3G signal and sometimes outside for a short while 1 or 2 bars 4G signal. Better 3G than no signal at all :-(
