RedMagic 11 Pro gets disassembled on video, see the liquid cooling loop from the inside

The RedMagic 11 Pro went official in China as the RedMagic 11 Pro+ in October, and it made its global debut yesterday. We are currently working on our full, in-depth review of the device, so stay tuned for that.

In the meantime, you may be interested to see how it fares in the now-traditional 'durability test' by Zack from the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel. Luckily, he had one on hand to test, and seemed quite impressed by the phone's world first - liquid cooling. And if you're curious about how that works, the video also contains the phone's full disassembly.

In case you couldn't watch for some reason, the water loop is visible on the handset's back. The RedMagic's screen takes an open flame for about 20 seconds before a white mark appears, but the panel does completely recover. It scratches at level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, with deeper grooves at level 7 - just as expected. The sides of the device are made from aluminum.

The RedMagic 11 Pro passes the bend test with flying colors. There's no bending, cracks, or damage at all no matter which direction it's bent from. Interestingly, a decal is covering most of the liquid cooling loop. A piezoelectric micropump moves the liquid around. There are red rubber rings alongside all ports, contributing to the device's IPX8 water resistance rating.

The support is now for 5 years (due to the new EU regulations) and the price stays the same, just 630 GBP. This is obviously far better than the over 1k asking price by other brands.

I would prefer driver support over an operating system (Android) that, over the years, has become increasingly similar to a poor copy of iOS. (It is becoming increasingly closed, increasingly restrictive in terms of permissions, and increasingly heav...

I wish Redmagic would make exact same design with flat cameras and hidden selfie cam, but without the "gamer" nonsense like trigger buttons and that dedicated "gaming mode" with more restrained styling. Imagine RedMagic 11 Pr...
