Redmi Other

Yesterday Redmi teased a handful of features of its upcoming Redmibook and Redmi X TV with the latter coming with 85% NTSC color gamut coverage as well as MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) feature that we usually see on TVs and most recently, on smartphones such as the OnePlus 8 Pro. But today's piece of info is all about the speakers.

The audio bit is important for a proper multimedia experience and Redmi knows that. So the TV will come with four 12.5W speakers along with an 8-unit subwoofer. The OEM promises theater-like audio experience but no matter what the ads say, if the Redmi TV is priced, which we believe it will be, the sound system does seem pretty impressive.

Can that built-in sound system beat a dedicated audio system? If not, I'd rather see a TV that is cheaper and has no speakers at all.

"Redmi knows that" Oh, really?! "if the Redmi TV is priced, which we believe it will be" Erm what? There's a possibility that it won't be priced and given away for free?! Wow! Anyways, what the heck is a "8-unit subwoofer" supposed to mean...
