Xiaomi Android Announcement

While the Redmi K20 Pro has only been out for a few months, the company decided to give the phone an upgrade with the new K20 Pro Premium. The biggest change is the newer Snapdragon 855+ chipset which promises up to 15% better performance in the GPU department compared to the Snapdragon 855 used in the regular K20 Pro.

Another new addition is the 12GB RAM and 512 GB storage configuration which also comes with an exclusive finish similar to what we saw with the Avengers edition Redmi K20 Pro. The phone will also ship with MIUI 11 out of the box and will offer a refined cooling system for better thermal management.

The rest of the specs are identical to the vanilla K20 Pro with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display and 20MP pop-up camera upfront. The back houses the triple camera array with a 48MP primary shooter, 8MP telephoto lens and 13 MP ultrawide module. The battery is 4,000 mAh and supports 27W fast charging.
