The Redmi K80 and K80 Pro launched back in November and they've been quite successful in China as the most recent sales numbers show. They will soon be joined by the king of the line, the Redmi K80 Ultra.
This has now been certified for sale in China, and this process has revealed its battery capacity, which is 7,270 mAh rated. That will most likely translate into a typical advertised capacity of 7,400 mAh or 7,500 mAh, just like the latest rumor on this phone indicated back in February.
The certification process hasn't outed any other specs, but past rumors talked about the K80 Ultra coming with a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED flat screen with "1.5K" resolution, support for 100W wired charging, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a triple rear camera setup including a 50 MP main sensor, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and a metal frame. The phone is expected to be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ SoC.
The K70 Ultra launched in July of last year, but rumor has it the K80 Ultra will arrive next month. We'll let you know when we find out more about it.
