The Redmi Watch 2 and Redmi Note 11 series arriving on October 28 will feature AMOLED screens. This revelation comes from Redmi, which posted a bunch of posters on its Weibo account.
The Watch 2 will pack a 1.6" color AMOLED panel and we get to see it in a new color in the latest poster. We previously saw the smartwatch in a black colorway, while leaked images also revealed a blue option.
While Xiaomi confirmed the AMOLED screen on the Redmi Note 11, it didn't reveal its diagonal. However, the company said the centered punch hole is 2.96mm in diameter, with the bezels on the left and right sides of the display measuring 1.75mm.
The brand further said that the back cover of the Redmi Note 11 will be covered with AG Glass. It has a better texture and is resistant to scratches and fingerprints.
The company is yet to confirm other key specs including SoC, camera setup, and battery size. But with the unveiling six days away, we can expect Redmi to reveal more about the Note 11 series and the Watch 2 in the lead-up to the launch event.
Are those HUGE bezels around the watch face necessary? Total waste of valuable screen real estate if you ask end-users and it cheapens the look and feel of the watch. Stupid stuff.
I'm with you.Using s Note 10 for few months after spent time with my sony and I can say amoled colour aren't not accurate.I love my sony becouse it's nature profile.Every day I always change colour scheme on my note...I hate it but kee...
I’m 100% with you. I hate amoled and have tried so many times to like them.. but there’s no getting away from the fact that they blow out colours that they shouldn’t and screw the colour palette. LCD looks bright, crisp and natural.
