Redmi is readying a new tablet after quite some time - the original Redmi Pad launched back in 2022, and now the Redmi Pad 2 is coming. The Xiaomi sub-brand has revealed that the Redmi Pad 2 is getting official on June 5, and it's started a full-on teaser campaign for the device on social media platforms.
While the brand itself hasn't outed many details regarding the tablet, it leaked twice last month, and so we know that it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 SoC and comes with an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with 1600x2500 resolution, 600-nit peak brightness, and 90 Hz refresh rate.

It will be offered with 4/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage - the 4/128GB model supposedly going for €199 in the Eurozone, and the 8/256GB version, with 4G connectivity built-in, for €299. The tablet has an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera.
G100 with 2K 11in screen is a grave mistake, not to mention they will likely use emmc for this cheapskate, a hard pass tablet that will only mold in the storage
