While we already know that Xiaomi is holding a product launch event next week (July 27), the company has now confirmed the star of the event. In a post on Weibo, the Chinese firm revealed that a device dubbed Redmi Pro will be unveiled on that day - not the Redmi Note 4 as was being expected.
The post also says that the phone will be accompanied by a "mysterious small partner," although nothing else about it was revealed. We, too, aren't sure what kind of device it would be.
If you recall, an unknown Xiaomi device was spotted on Geekbench last week, revealing Helio X25 SoC, 4GB RAM, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Reports say it could be the upcoming Redmi Pro. There have also been rumors that the device that will be made official on July 27 will feature a dual-camera setup.
Dear red rice, launch in INDIA @ 15k with sd 652, 64gb rom and 4gb ram.. You will definately acquire Samsung's market.
Sadly SD652 doesn't have superior gpu to helio x20/25. It's around 20% faster and the cpu is also faster, but when it comes down to software, the best choice is SD652.
Snapdragon 652 please Superior GPU and battery life!
