Redmi Turbo 4 debuts Dimensity 8400-Ultra and 6,550 mAh battery
Xiaomi is kicking off the new year with a Turbo phone - the Redmi Turbo 4. It’s the first phone to launch with the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, which Xiaomi customized and now calls Dimensity 8400-Ultra. Turbo 4 also matches the Redmi K80 by packing a 6,550 mAh silicon carbon cell with 90W wired charging.

Turbo 4 is also fitted with a 6.67-inch LTPS OLED screen with 1220p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at 3,200 nits peak brightness and features Gorilla Glass 7i protection. There’s a 20MP (OV20B) front-facing camera inside the punch-hole cutout and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
The back of the device features a glass back with a dual-tone finish and two camera sensors. A 50MP main cam armed with a Sony LYT-600 sensor (1/1.95”) and OIS. The second shooter is an 8MP ultrawide lens.
The software side is covered by Xiaomi HyperOS 2, based on Android 15. Turbo 4 is also IP66/68/69 dust and waterproof and features an infrared port.
Redmi Turbo 4
Redmi Turbo 4 comes in black, white and sea blue colors. Pricing for the 12/256GB trim starts at CNY 1,999 ($273), while the top-tier 16/512GB version is going for CNY 2,499 ($342). The device is already on open sale in China from Xiaomi’s official channels.

Redmi Turbo 4 is expected to make its way to global markets as the Poco X7 Pro next week on January 9.

Exactly. A modern, 12 or 13 MP sensor for the UW camera is all we need. AF would be a nice touch, although I get why they don't ad this feature to a lot of phones.
