Redmi TV Announcement

The affordable smart TV market is becoming increasingly more saturated and Redmi’s latest offerings are now official in India. Meet the Redmi Smart TV X50, X55 and X65 which are made locally and bring identical specs across the board.

All three models feature 4K resolution LED panels with HDR10+, Dolby Vision and support for 92% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. The refresh rate is capped at 60Hz and Xiaomi is offering its Vivid Picture profiling and Reality Flow MEMC image smoothing. On the audio side all three models sport two 15W speakers tuned with DTS Virtual X and Dolby Audio as well as Dolby Atmos if you connect a supported soundbar.

The new Redmi X-series TVs are powered by MediaTek’s MT9611 quad core chipset alongside 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The I/O consists of 3 x HDMI 2.1 ports, 2 x USBs, an optical audio jack, one Ethernet port, and a headphone jack. The TVs also pack dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. The software front is covered by Xiaomi’s PatchWall interface on top of Google’s Android TV 10.

The Redmi TV X50 will retail for INR 32,999 ($455) while the 55-inch model will cost INR 38,999 ($537). The larger 65-inch model will go for INR 57,999 ($800). First sales begin on March 26 at 12 noon on Mi.com and Amazon India.

Mi TV indeed improving, but the picture quality not yet in par with top brands we knows.

no 75/86 inch ...xiomi and mi/redmi can never even think or even dare to act as premium ....so much hype for useless crap when did 65 inch becomes x size ,then why hype as XL..... xiomi mocking itself ..may be for them this size itself toooooooo ...
