Redmi Xiaomi Android Rumors

Redmi is allegedly working on a new tablet that will be aimed at gamers. Given this fact, it will upgrade its power by using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipset. The exact one isn't mentioned by the Chinese source of this leak, which makes us (and many commenters over on Weibo) believe it's going to end up being the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is not really a flagship SoC as the naming implies, but more of an upper-midrange offering.

Still, that would compare well to Redmi's previous tablets, and signifies a slight move upmarket, even if not by a lot. The brand could also go with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 perhaps, it's unclear. What seems to be the consensus of the Chinese netizens is that the tablet won't use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

There are no other details out right now about this new Redmi tablet, and it's only rumored to arrive early next year, so there's still plenty of time for it to leak extensively. Stay tuned.

If You wanna wait the whole year for the next one, might as well wait 2 years for the Pad 3 Pro as well - it's definitely gonna be better than the previous two models... Mate, just buy the current one. And there is a 5G version.

Should I buy the old tablet redmi pad pro that was released this summer or wait for new version early next year? I hope they won't forget to include the 4g / 5g chip this time around
