Reportedly, Samsung is keeping the same Galaxy Note8 design for the Note9 to cut costs

Samsung Android Rumors

Reports of the upcoming Galaxy Note9 have been fairly vague, but every single one of them adds to the puzzle piece by piece. The latest one points at no design changes, whatsoever.

According to the same leakster who brought you Galaxy Note9's screen glass protector revealing the front design, we know have a solid confirmation that the overall looks won't be much different than the Note8. Reportedly, this is because the company is looking to save on some manufacturing cost and it only makes sense by looking at the Galaxy S8/S8+ and the Galaxy S9/S9+ stacked side by side - we saw very minor changes in the design department.

Yeah, an earlier report says that Samsung did a last minute change in the design that pushed the launch date two weeks, but it's just a small change in the glass thickness that doesn't really mean all that much in real-life usage.

Still, this doesn't mean that the phone won't bring other cool features besides the 2017 design from the Note8. We expect improved camera setup on the back and front, more accurate iris scanner and, of course, more powerful Exynos 9810 chipset.

In any case, if the latest piece of information is accurate, the device will hit the streets on August 9.
