HTC one max stole my eye and feel. I wanted the note for so long until I went to buy it and saw and played with the HTC . It was no contest HTC by far was better for my preferences. The camera quality of the HTC w/ 4 ultra pixels not mega, ultra was the selling point( I think far boss pic quality than other phones ). The weird faux leather back felt cheap on the note, the HTC has a much better quality feel to it.. HTC wins by far in my book.

I just read the entire review of these two phones, and when I tried both of the phones yesterday, it seems pretty legit.
I love my HTC One X so I can only imagine that the HTC One Max is way better.
But when comparing the Galaxy Note 3 and the One Max in the store, the Note 3 was surprisingly better in almost every way!
Great pictures and impressive video quality. When playing music (through my bose headphones, since I rarely use the speakers)the Note 3 is just as good as the HTC (without the beats equalizer).
The S-pen i genius and the phone operates very good and fast. It's a bit faster and smoothly runnin' than One Max.. I'm considering the Galaxy Note 3 instead!!!

I love Android for everything but making a call. My s4 and new note constantly crashes and hangs on opening my phone book. The primary role of a phone is to phone. Measuring temperature etc is extras. Android is for all the extras and not for making calls. For that and lag free operation either w8 or Apple even BlackBerry is a better choice.

Just got my HTC One max and I love it, great for social media and the movie/gaming experience is second to none. Absolutely loving the size and the simplicy to set up to use makes life with the max so easy to live with. This is a phone I defo get noticed with and asked about.

I watch alot of tv/movies on my phone when traveling, the BoomSound is amazing when watching on the phone, with the 4G capabilities it really does give lightening responses.

I recommend this phone to everyone who thinks carrying a tablet is way to big and can handle day to day use, with its massive battery capacity the max can do it all.

The disparity between this two phone is tiny almost 2%. I'm using finger scanner which works scintillating but the reviewer had his eyes closed about it. You guys are waiting for samsung to have finger scanner and then you'll know it's significancy. What's the super difference between note 2 & note 3? very small. Let's put away jealous. HTC One Max came up with something which no android phone has.

I applaud Htc the One Max is okay people will definitely buy especially if you were a former Evo owner on Sprint.

In the same league as the Galaxy Note 3 it's not even close actually it's pretty comical. The Htc One Max is big for NO REASON and has NO feature enhancements or implementations to take advantage of the screen size.

At the end of the day the Galaxy Note 3 is definitely on a level of it's own that's why SAMSUNG owns 63% of the entire android platform.

And just because you like aluminum better does not make plastic bad. That's a horrible misconception and twist of personal taste/preference and fact. Especially high grade poly carbonate. Samsung's phones are made very tough. And plastic has many advantages over aluminum.

Nothing compares to the sound from HTC phones. Not note 3 neither i phone. I m using HTC 1, i love the design, its elegant, robust yet built tough. Samsung phones has great apps, but bare in mind they're not built to last. Be it physically or internally. I have used it and i have regret on it. Thanks to HTC, now i m loving it. Dont believe me, try it.

It has two front facing speakers. The Note's sound from speaker is quite adequate, but can't compare to two front facing ones. The overall choice is user preference. However speakers alone does not give it an overall win. And it depends on what you want. As far as watching videos the One has great speakers, but the Note3 has arguably the best display. Also has cleaner audio output, but a little less volume in headphone.
But speakers and viewing are just one aspect of an entire system. It takes a lot more than just that for either or any device.

After trying them both I noticed no difference in the specs of the two phones but I did notice a huge difference in the sound quality and appearance. In the HTC One Max the sound while playing movies and music is simply amazing. And I just love the aluminum finish. The difference in size and weight comes from the fantastic speakers that will simply blow you away. The choice is clear HTC Max wins hands down.
