Nexus 5 is just a good gadget not a mobile... .. Totaly money waste.. From day one it has a problem of outgoing voice .. Regarding for that service centre replace the mike of handset but thats not working.. I m trying to cell the nexus on olx .. Not at all a handset as its first major important function of calling is realy not good..

I was gifted Nexus 5 by my father this Sep 14. I'm in love with this phone. Slim, light weight, great response rate, multi-mode is thumbs up.....I have a list of goods for this one. Kudos to LG :D
On last Friday, the display went off due to a slight jerk my mobile got when I was keeping it on my office desk. I was in disaster. I went to the Chinchwad service centre and they were asking me a bomb price for service...Rs. 8751/- can u beat it? I then went to the Dhankawadi service centre and the service centre rep there changed my screen n some other parts for FREE. Also, all of this was done in flat 30minutes. I was amazebat the

Im quite curious about the battery life. With the new phones around coming at 60h endurance ratings and higher,40h endurance with this is quite low.
Is that true in the real life perf??

How can I use analog video calling function? By analog, I mean the native video calling feature just like voice calls. Not Skype, Viber, etc. With my previous Nokia symbian 3G phones, it was a basic function. Does android support this native video call feature?

Here's my unbiased analysis after 6 months usage:
Snappiest. Just pick up your phone, throw any task and it will perform ruthlessly.
Excellent full HD screen. Every movie, every game and every shot is crystal clear.
Excellent camera. Don't listen to people over the web, with the 4.4.4 update, the nexus 5 camera is DSLR quality.
Inconsistent battery life: I wouldn't say it has the worse battery, there are battery management tricks you'll learn with time but things should get better with Android L.
excellent connectivity : Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE, 3G, HSDPA, wireless charging, NFC- name it and it all works absolutely fine.
Gaming: load speeds are super fast, graphics just stand out. Full 5"HD display adds to the bliss.
Can't wait to see how things get even better with the Android L update. If you're considering to buy this phone (if you're lucky to get a piece considering it's availability), go ahead and score it blindly, Google will give the Nexus 5 full support for the next 2 years (until the end of 2017).

Well looks like the heat is pretty much up here. Everyone saying Nexus 5 is not a high end phone probably dont have it..With the specs and price it's available at..I must say it's one of the best deals. As for the heating up part.The phone heats a bit at the top like only when you play heavy games for like 30 mins continuously.. So i guess its one of the best phones out there

Have you ever looked at a old arm chair . the functions are bare minimum and you can if you want have can buy one with limitless functions like massage , heated and cooling systems Installed but can't have the enjoyment of all this and even think of enjoying the yankess game at TV, with your ass not thinking what more should I have. You won't ever enjoy the game ever. Just like that nexus 5 wants you to enjoy apps the one you want and the way you want.
As for battery drainage tip always close the app you saw the last instead of just jumping to home screen close it. And then before period of not activeness swipe of all the apps from multi tasking button. Have fun guys its a good phone

Hi,
I have been using this phone past 5 months and my observations on cons as below:
1.Its gets heated up soon
2.Battery gets drain sooner
3.Hangs inconsistently
4.Display of caller sometimes does not work u will just hear the ring but it wont display who is calling and when call gets disconnected you will get to know.
5.while using whats app suddenly the keypad stops working and app gets hanged
6.notification bar gets hanged instantly
All comes fine with a reboot
its cool but nowadays not the expected level user fexiblity is not seen
